Visted this wonderful cafe after a walk from Marizion and tasted the best Cornish Pasty and cream tea. The food and drinks arrived at the same time. The service was outstanding. Good sized portions and excellent value for money. Definately will be visiting again.

This was possibly the best steak meal i've ever eaten, and I don't say that lightly.

The reviews on trip advisor suggested that we would enjoy our meal, both being steak lovers. However, I was blown away by the meal.

We got a late booking, and I'd advise booking as the restaurant is small - maybe six tables at most.

We had chicken satay and goujons to start; fresh, hot, and delicious. Followed by steaks, cooked exactly to our liking, and all the sides - peas, tomatoes, mushrooms and a mound of chips. We elected to get a sharing platter of steak sauces, and this set the steak off perfectly.

We rolled out of the restaurant, full to bursting. I wouldn't miss this excellent restaurant if you are in Penzance!

We finally got in here on a Saturday night, as we visit 'Zance on a frequent basis. The reviews were what drew us here and we weren't dissapointed. It's a small-ish place (with nice views of the harbour) so try to book early!
The starters (chicken satay and goujons) were excellent and delivered quite quickly, freshly home-made (even the sweet chilli sauce dip) and devoured even quicker! We both opted for the rib-eye, cooked medium, and these were cooked to perfection. Homemade onion rings, chips peas and mushrooms filled the plate so that even a big eater like myself was full. Unfortunately we couldn't find room for pudding, but the next table had the ice creams and we swore on our next visit to leave room for them. A special mention too for the excellent friendly service, and we will definately be returning here again!

Have visited Drecklys three times in the last 2 or 3 months and had a wonderful meal on each occasion. Good choice of cuts and sizes to suit all appetities and everyone I was with had theirs cooked exactly to order. The homemade sauces are a must - order the sharing option so you can sample more than one. Homemade onion rings as well. I really don't know how they produce such great food out of such a tiny kitchen. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
This is a steakhouse so if you have non-steak lovers in your party, be warned, there are few alternatives (not a criticism). Also, the opening hours can be limited, especially out of the main summer season, so ring and check before you go, but make sure you go, you'll love it.
