Description: The popular Dock Inn is located in the heart of Penzance’s historic harbour-side area. The Dock has a good old fashioned pub atmosphere, with scrubbed pine tables, polished wooden floors, two open fires, comfy leather sofas and all sorts of nautical and other memorabilia! In the ‘lower deck’ you can watch the world go by through bi-fold doors overlooking Quay Street. You’ll get friendly service, banter, top quality home-made pub food (if you get peckish) and will be made to feel welcome whether you’re on your own or with a group of friends. We have live music most Friday’s and we also have a popular weekly jam session every Tuesday from 9pm where both musicians and spectators are welcome! We do the best Sunday Roast in town! We have a well thought out (and well sampled!) wine list, a wide range of bar drinks and choice of 3 excellent real ales including the legendary Spingo brewed in Helston. In the warmer summer months you can relax in our sunny courtyard garden. In the winter we have a heated smoking area for our customers enjoyment. As well as offering excellent value food & drinks, we have 3 quality en-suite B&B rooms – a perfect place to relax.

Good combination of a local for a drink or a pub with good food at a reasonable price. It seems to have got the mix right between diners and drinkers. There is a nice outside seating area as well.

Visited mid december and the food was lovely, one of the best meals of the holiday. Had plenty to choose from and the food was quick to cook but still tasty. Made to feel very welcome with a great service. The setting of the pub was small but cosy, with interesting decor to look at. Will definitely go back again.

Great choice for celiacs but the ham egg and chips were disapointing, had to ask for no egg as allergic to them. Didn't seem to be enough food for the price charged, two half slices of ham and basically frozen fries. Two of our party had the tagliatelle and were also disappointed, plenty of food for them but very little flavour and not enough sauce on the pasta. A comment was made on the tagliatelle when the waitress came to remove the plates and asked if all was ok. We then didn't see a waitress again until we had to ask at the bar for the bill. No one offered us a sweets menu or coffees, we were just abandoned.
