Description: The popular Dock Inn is located in the heart of Penzance’s historic harbour-side area. The Dock has a good old fashioned pub atmosphere, with scrubbed pine tables, polished wooden floors, two open fires, comfy leather sofas and all sorts of nautical and other memorabilia! In the ‘lower deck’ you can watch the world go by through bi-fold doors overlooking Quay Street. You’ll get friendly service, banter, top quality home-made pub food (if you get peckish) and will be made to feel welcome whether you’re on your own or with a group of friends. We have live music most Friday’s and we also have a popular weekly jam session every Tuesday from 9pm where both musicians and spectators are welcome! We do the best Sunday Roast in town! We have a well thought out (and well sampled!) wine list, a wide range of bar drinks and choice of 3 excellent real ales including the legendary Spingo brewed in Helston. In the warmer summer months you can relax in our sunny courtyard garden. In the winter we have a heated smoking area for our customers enjoyment. As well as offering excellent value food & drinks, we have 3 quality en-suite B&B rooms – a perfect place to relax.

Go here a lot for meals with friends and it's always great. Steaks are good quality and local and always cooked to perfection. Pulled pork is amazing and tonight I had one of the fish specials (hake this time) perfectly cooked and just delicious! Puddings are yummy too. Beer is good especially the local spingo. Fantastic value too! Never been disappointed!

We walked to Dock Inn from our B&B, coming in the back entrance, where 3 locals, one in pink hair, were nursing their bitters - from that point on, we couldn't have asked for a more local, authentic, pub experience. The bartender was great, the beer delightful, and the people-watching and idle conversations were a blast.

The food was okay, pretty good, nothing to write home about - I got a version of shepherd's pie which was passable, and we had a couple of appetizers which were not memorable enough to remember them... The food was okay, but the experience was tremendous - before we went to the UK I said I wanted to visit as many local pubs as I could, just for the experience, and Dock Inn was well worth the trip!

We visited in june 2014, down for a wedding we wanted to find an independent traditional pub and this is exactly what we found. Friendly waiting staff, we wanted to have starters then a break and then order mains and this wasn't a problem... very relaxed. The food was excellent and fresh. I would recommend this lovely pub to anyone
