Stopped for a quick lunch and a drink. Decided on an organic burger, which came with chips and salad. Food was pretty good but not perfect (bacon not crispy). Would I go again - probably as it seems like the best place in town and there are plenty of options to tempt you. Service levels perhaps not all they could be - a smile doesn't cost anything! That said the lady who served me did what she needed.

Have been to 'Waves' before and so went there for a drink while shopping. Service was prompt and reasonably friendly (ie. not over friendly but polite). Drinks served nicely. Would have liked teacakes to still be available at 3pm, but forgiven.

Stopped in with my nephew, on his recommendation, the service was fantastic, food was superb, great atmosphere, met the owners very friendly, very reasonably priced, excellent value, we both had full english ( without toast ), could barely finish. great spot to eat, or just to have some tea, highly recommend, a must when in Penzance!!!!!!!

Hubby and I had lunch there on a very cold day, but the atmosphere inside was warm and cosy. We had baguettes with chicken bacon and avocado filling. Generous portion with lots of quality filling. Service was attentive & pleasant. Subsequently ate lunch with a friend and again had a quality lunch at a very reasonable cost with good service

So found this amazing place at the top of the causeway, and I was served by a well mannered trainee no more than 16/17 years old. Very polite and smiley. The food was delicious an I shall be coming back again!
