Having dined at Gino's when I wad in Penzance a few years ago, I'd forgotten the service was slow and the food just average. We were seated by a young lady with a French accent, however as the evening progressed the waiter changed to another young lady even though the first young lady was still waiting other tables.
I had the pizzza fungi, I couldn't say if it was microwaved however it didn't have the pizzaz of a freshly baked pizza. My companions had the fish lasagne which was reasonably priced but a bit short of fish and the other companion had the chicken and rice which appeared to be fine.
The service tended to be slow which raised comments at the table before any of these reviews were read. The views over the sea tend to be the highlight of a meal at Gino's.
