Visited these gardens with 2 children while in Cornwall last week. Tricky to find and had low expectations due to lack of publicity (we spend a lot of time in that area and never came across them before) but on a sunny day in August we had the whole garden literally to ourselves all morning. This really is a magical place... Fern covered dells, beautiful views, interesting sculptures, beautiful planting... A hidden gem. Cafe great for lunch too. We'll be back! (Note that due to uneven, steep paths, steps and unguarded walkways by water that young children or the less fit/able may struggle).
