“The Best Place to Eat and Listen to Music in Penzance”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

This place is excellent and a breath of fresh air in Penzance - especially owards the end of the week when there is live music.

The menu is spot-on, well priced and delicious, as are the cocktails and wine selection.

Highly recommended whether you live in the area or are visiting.

“Tasty food and superb jazz music.”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

The restaurant has a very homely feel, some stunning art work on the walls and a very friendly front of house. The food is fresh and tasty, although the menu could offer a little more. The crab cakes were delicious and we loved the cocktails! Overall the place really offers Penzance something new and it was wonderful to be able to enjoy our food whilst listening to some truly excellent live jazz. We'll back back again.

“Unsure”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

We booked a table for four on a Saturday night, upon arrival they had lost our reservation but not a problem they did manage to seat us. We found the menu a little disjointed but all managed to find something to order. The jazz accompaniment was excellent if a little loud for gentle conversation. The food was good when it was correct ( the Ceaser salad devoid of both the chicken and the bacon initially)'was quickly recompensated. The wine selection was diverse enough to cater for all palates- a great selection of whites and reds. The lampshade falling off the wall was a funny highlight of the evening. A bit of fine tuning and this place could be a goldmine but as it is, it's not sure what it wants to be.

“Menu very limited”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

The restaurant has been done up very nicely, a pleasant place to eat and excellent value for money but the menu very limitedd - no starters or plates to share. Very low on stock so every time we ordered a second bottle of wine they had sold out and also had a number of things unavailable ont he limited menu so it was disapointing but if these things are improved I would return Oh and PS the yound man serving was a star he was extremely helpful and pleasant a real asset to the restaurant.
