A very warm welcome greeted us and a genuine interest in what we were doing in the area and full of suggestions for things to try. Very well presented rooms maintained to a very high standard. Extremely clean and tidy. Fantastic little extra touches like fudge and cookies in the room, toiletries, use of lounge with literature of all activities in the area and free wifi. The breakfast was on par with ones we have had in the finest hotels - with the added benefit of a lovely family playing host to all the guests. If you need a hotel in Penzance - look no further.

For our family holiday in Cornwall, we stayed at several different B&Bs, but the Blue Seas was BY FAR everyone's favorite.

Fiona & Arnaud are the perfect hosts, and were a good source of information on things to do in the area. They went out of their way to have breakfast ready for us a little earlier one day as we had a flight that morning to the Isles of Scilly. Internet was a little spotty sometimes, but workable.

And the breakfast! You can have a traditional English fry-up, but there are so many other options as well. We loved the pancakes with fresh fruit and the warm baguettes. It was a perfect fusion of English & continental cuisine.

I'd return to Penzance just to stay at the Blue Seas.

We spent Easter weekend at this lovely B&B which has a stunning location near the centre of Penzance overlooking Mounts Bay. We have stayed at several of the B&B's on Regent Terrace over the years, and in our opinion Blue Seas is by far the best. The rooms are very well designed and decorated, are kept spotlessly clean. Delicious local sweet treats are also left in your room on a daily basis which is a lovely touch. The breakfast was sublime, with a range of freshly cooked breakfasts to rival a 5 star hotel, and locally made breads and preserves. Fiona and Arnaud, the owners, couldn't be more helpful and friendly, particularly over breakfast where they functioned as convivial hosts and local travel guides all in one. Definitely worth trying if you need a base in Penzance for exploring West Cornwall. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Room Tip: If budget allows, ask for a front-facing room as the sea views are spectacular.

Blue Seas is an absolutely delightful place to stay. As with most small B&Bs, the owners can make or break your stay, and Fiona and Arnaud are incredibly friendly, helpful, and warm hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. They do a really nice job of including special little extras to make you feel welcome, including putting local cookies, fudge, and goodies are put in your room. They also have a very nice library of books, maps, and walking guides of the region. The rooms are spacious, clean, and seem to have been recently refurbished. The breakfast is incredible: huge selection of both cooked food and continental-style breakfast offerings, and the quality is all top-notch. We were incredibly impressed by the array of food they prepare every morning. We would certainly stay here again on a return trip to Penzance. Only two small points that would have improved our stay. The bed was very soft, and I suspect that if you had back problems, it might not have been a terribly comfortable sleep. Also, the breakfast is served somewhat on the early side-- between 7:45 and 8:45am. This was no problem for us as we were eager to get up and get going each day, but if you wanted to have a lazier morning and sleep in a bit, you might miss the breakfast, which would be a real shame as it is an absolute treat. Those very minor points aside, we would certainly highly recommend the Blue Seas!

From the day I have arrived till the day I left the accommodation, I have been very satisfied with their service. Arnaud and Fiona have been very friendly and I could still remember that they offered me so much guidance on which places to explore in Cornwall. It is very peaceful to stay in Penzance and Blue Seas is a good place to stay. You would hear the sound of seagull in the early morning as you waked up as this accommodation is very close to the sea. The breakfast included is simple awesome and I can say it is a first-class breakfast. There are good restaurants nearby such as the Taj Mahal which is a minute away. In the evening, you can simply relax your mind by walking along the seaside which is relatively near to the accommodation. Overall, it was a good penzance experience staying in Blue Seas and it is like our home. Keep up the good standard!

This is a superb place to stay which exceeded my expectations even after reading all the excellent reviews on this site! Just a pleasant 10 /15 min stroll from the station, along the harbour. The Hotel faces Mounts Bay. Fiona and Arnaud are friendly, hospitable hosts and seem to have thought of everything, even down to the delicious homemade biscuits on the welcome tray. My room was well decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a nice little en-suite shower room. Capping all this was a breakfast to die for ! I have never seen such an imaginative menu and am not at all surprised that this has won an award.
If you are having any doubts about where to stay in Penzance (as I had, having tried quite a few B&B's over the lst few years) head for the Blue Seas and I can assure you that you won't be disappointed.

This is such a lovely place to stay. Run by friendly couple Fiona and Arnaud (she is English, he is French), this B and B is in a perfect location by the sea, very comfortable rooms and en suites, very clean, and beautifully decorated. There's an amazing breakfast selection and the owners can offer very helpful advice about what to do and see in Penzance. A gorgeous place in a gorgeous town, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.
