Our stay at Blue Seas Hotel was wonderful with our hosts Fiona & Arnaud.
From our greeting by Arnaud with a pot of hot tea and home baked scones with jam & Cornish clotted cream, to the most amazing breakfasts each morning.
Fiona helped greatly with photo copies of urgent correspondence which I had to take care of immediately, and even posted the letter for me.
Over all a most enjoyable stay and we recommend it to others.
Cheryl & Helen, Australia.

Room Tip: We had a sea view room on the second floor.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel and would thoroughly recommend staying there if you are visiting Penzance. The owners were very friendly and helpful and looked after us extremely well during our two day stay. The room was tastefully decorated with a lovely comfortable bed and was absolutely immaculate. The bathroom too was spotless. We enjoyed the little treats of biscuits and fudge with our tea and coffee- a nice touch. The breakfasts were superb, beautifully presented and delicious and and an amazing choice. The sea view from our bedroom was fantastic; coming from the midlands we wanted as much sea as possible! On a practical note, the parking just across the road was very handy, We are looking forward to our next visit to the Blue Seas hotel in the near future.

My stay at Penzance has been wonderful, thanks to the Blue Seas hotel. The owners are very kind, always helpful and ready to give you good advice about exploring Cornwall. My room was small but VERY comfortable with a dream-like shower, spotless toilets and washbasin, comfy bed and fluffy, immaculate towels which were a blessing to use after a long day of fun. It was decorated in very good taste and always filled with nice little treats like biscuits or fudge. And the breakfast was simply delicious! The owners definitively deserved their Best Breakfast Award.
I will return to this B&B shall I visit Penzance again!

Me and a child (12 years) both comming from Germany stayed in the Blue Seas for four nights in March 2013 and it was wunderful. A very warm and kind welcome. Nice, light and quiet rooms with beautiful details. Additionally every day a small surprise in the room like biscuit or chocolate. We enjoyed the wonderful, big and many-sided breakfast, which tasted very good and was a perfect start in the day. Arnaud & Fiona tried all, that their guests would have a beautiful and unforgotten vacation.
Also my daughter feel very good in the Blue Seas with Arnaud & Fiona.

The website states what it is, and what it is not and these are correct.
The welcome is very warm and the rooms are very well presented. Tea and coffee, plus biscuits....and fudge!
Everything is nice and clean. The breakfast menu is extensive and quite a pleasurable struggle in the morning. The food is very good. A couple of minor niggles; the hot water took a few minutes to come through to the basin and the controls on the shower were "awkward" (took time to get the temperature just right). I'd go back again.

Immaculately kept, fresh contemporary styling.

Cleanliness standard impeccable throughout.

Breakfast menu is beautifully varied, perfectly cooked and of fine restuarant quality thanks to French chef Arnaud.

Room number 9 is in the attic but is spacious with a lovely en suite. Faultless. It has sea views across to the pretty lights of Newlyn and the expanse of the bay. The rear en suite has tranquil views across the quiet churchyard.

Little extras such as local fudge and cookies in your room each morning are very welcoming.

The hosts are both warm, friendly and inviting. If you prefer a quiet breakfast with Nil By Ear though, you may have to politely decline the landlady's effusive conversation :)

The sitting room is very large and there is use of a laptop with free wifi.

Parking to the front and a pretty garden to sit in.

The house is part of a picturesque quiet period terrace set far back from the main road. It is a two minute walk to the seafront and Chapel Street area with it's many historic pubs, restaurants and access to shopping.

I have no prior experience of B&B stays so cannot really comment on value for money. Whether out of season or in, I would summarily state that this is of luxurious standard and most certainly worth the money.

This is a 10 out of 10 review.
My only other observation is that the front vista of the building whilst characterful and pleasant, seems at odds with the very contemporary and stylish interior.

Room Tip: Room 9 is in the attic. Spacious with sea views to front and quiet churchyard to rear. No street le...

Dear Mr Milliehere,

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are glad you have enjoyed your stay with us.
Our guesthouse is a grade II listed building dating back from 1836 when it was own by Master Mariners. This is why we cannot alter the exterior of the house.

'This is a hotel with more than 5 star rating. The room we stayed was very clean full of light and a sense of space. Our room had a lovely view of the whole expanse of the sea all the way across Newlyn. This is what we call value for £

Everyday there was lovely complimentary treats Cornish biscuits and fudge. The breakfast was fab it really was a treat. There was not a trace of oil or fat in the breakfast very nicely prepared and even in the top hotels you will be pushed to get such a plate food.

The couple who run the place are very friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and are able to advice on trips ect. The living room is restful and relaxing if you like to have a evening in due to adverse weather conditions.

they also have a car park and a nice front garden

We stayed here for our wedding anniversery and it was a lovely touch when we were treated to a gift and a card '

Room Tip: Room 7 with Sea view
