Owner description: An easy 2.1 mile walk along the South West Coast Path from Penzance that gives great views across Mounts Bay to St Michael's Mount, the Lizard and Mousehole. In autumn, the Bird Reserve at Marazion attracts rare migrants such as bitterns and water rails. The flocks of swallows hunting flying ants sometimes draw the attention of a passing hobby, an unusual bird of prey.

You pick up this walk at the side of the bus station and it's flat all the way to Marazion with some lovely views on a clear day of St Michaels Mount. It's a shared path with cycles but no problems there. Perfect for dog walking but rather a lot of dog mess which is a great pity and that seems to be a problem in Penzance.

Good flat walk from the bus and train station towards Marazion. Don't be put off by the start that runs alongside the railway line with a high wall to the sea side. Eventually opens up, If you time it right then you can divert by walking the causeway out to St Michael's Mount.

Approximately 40 minutes stroll along the front to Penzance. Easy to do, beautiful sea and mount views! Lots of friendly people along the way! Never get tired of this walk no matter what the season ! Highly recommend.

The whole of this coast has stunning scenery. St Micheal's mount is defiantly worth a visit, it is stepped in history and very beautiful and interesting.
enjoyable to walk out/back and boat the other way

This is not one for those that like steep hills climbs. It's a nice long walk on excellent paths alongside the sea to St Michaels Mount, which itself is a little boring, but we weren't too bothered.

There's a little refreshment hut near Marazion. Stop there for a cuppa on the way back, and if your feet are sore, there's a bus stop there.
