Gobsmackingly gorgeous old Fisherman's cottage right on the harbour wall of Polperro, Cornwall
If you want a fairytale adventure in a 13th century fishing village with direct access to the Cornish Coastal Walk, look no further than this gem which is perched right on the harbour wall. This authentically quaint fishing cottage has 3 crooked floors of cosy gorgeousness with 6 sea facing windows, one from every room, revealing full glorious harbour views & above the throng of activity & visitors seeking the perfect seaside experience.

A cavernous cave 'Willy Willcox' is below the harbour wall & accessible via stone steps onto a beautiful beach at low tide a mere 20 steps away from the cottage!

Do yourself a favour & enjoy what this cottage offers, it's s bit upsey downy steps n all but I guarantee Fiona & Martin's warm welcome of fresh scones, jams & cornish clotted cream awaits your arrival
We stayed with friends at Charlie Wilcox recently. All four of us had wonderful experiences in this charming rental. Perched right on the quay at the harbor entrance the cottage provides continuous entertainment as tourists just beneath the windows gape at boats entering and leaving, fish being unloaded and ferries dropping off passengers. This sweet location is also perfect for heading east or west on the Southwest Coastal Path which passes near the front door. The excellent Blue Peter pub is just a few steps away so finding one's way home late at night is not a problem.
One caveat: This is not a suitable rental for anyone with limited mobility. The cottage's reserved parking spots are several hundred yards distant, and the living spaces inside are on three levels.
All the cottage systems worked well... including a washer, dryer and dishwasher. Wifi was very fast. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped and clean.
