“Loved Arabia Cottage; Loved Port Isaac; Loved Cornwall”
Reviewed 11 November 2012 for a stay in October 2012

Loved Arabia cottage. It is an ideal position for the harbour, has a designated car parking spot (a MUST in Port Isaac). The cottage is warm and toasty and above all cleaner than clean. The beds are so comfy, lovely clean crisp white bedlinen. We are walkers so it is lovely to come home after being out all day to a warm cottage and lovely comfy beds.
Don't forget to make use of the loft room which has Sky + and loads of seating plus there was an XBox and Playstation 2.
We travelled all over Cornwall but loved North Cornwall the most. Drive to Rock and take the ferry over to Padstow and do the path that runs along side the stunning sandy beach, go to Tintagel followed by a visit to lovely Boscastle. We walked the Lizard Kyance coast, went to St Ives, St. Michaels mount and visited the scenic Tin mines.
A word or warning; if you do the Port Isaac to Port Quin walk be prepared for a long walk with steps up and down. I love walking but I found it arduous. We thought it was about 4.5 mile round trip but when I cam back and looked it up (no signal or WiFi in Port Isaac) it was actually 7.5 miles. The lovely man in the sweet shop at the harbour (do visit and have blackcurrant ice cream) advised us to drive to Port Quin and walk to Port Isaac which is an easier route and you can stop in Port Isaac for a rest and something to eat. Did we take his advice - no we didn't and there is absolutely NOTHING in Port Quin so take the advice is all I will say; Enjoy your stay in Port Isaac, I know we did.

“Loved it”
Reviewed 2 October 2012 for a stay in August 2012

We had a very happy family holiday in Port Isaac. The weather wasn`t brill but the cottage has a great studio room with tv and games etc. The view from the studio and garden is wonderful. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The harbour, shops, pubs etc are just steps away although it is quite a steep climb on the way back. Not a problem for us but could be for some. Parking in Port Isaac is a nightmare so the allocated parking spot just up the hill was a god send. Loved Port Isaac and loved Arabia Cottage. Would definitely stay again.
