After a very long 2 days of travel from Canada we made it to Port Isaac which will be the starting point of this section of the SW coastal path. Having been here before we knew where we wanted to eat. Best fish and chips in town. Crispy batter coats the thick succulent piece of cod which lies on top of the chips. Alongside this are the mushy peas which I normally don’t like but these ones were more like mushed up frozen green peas with a little something added to enhance the flavour. Altogether a very tasty meal, not greasy in the least. Definitely will return if we come back to Port Isaac.
