Just outside Port Issac in a rual setting. Glad we had a navigation unit in the car to find it, could be difficult to find without. Comfortable room accessed by multiple staircases. ( no elevators)
Service staff was friendly, food was very good, but the real highlight was the gardens. Very enjoyable stay. Great center to explore the area from.

We stayed here for 5 nights in mid-July 2013 and loved every moment, The hotel is beautiful and the staff are just amazing. We stayed in Room 1 think, where Churchill stayed! It had a lovely view and the old fashioned wooden wardrobe was so organized that everything fit in easily. I'd love to buy one just like it! The terrace dining room was so beautiful and the food was yummy. Highly recommend a visit here.

Room Tip: We loved Room 1, and it was right over the terrace dining room and one night only had a little noise...

We went to the Longcross Hotel for our Wedding Anniversary on 20th September. We cannot praise the staff enough and found them to be helpful, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated with a beautiful sea view of the stunning North Cornwall coastline. The gardens were well presented and a pleasant place to wander around on an autumn evening. The food was amazing and I can highly recommend the rack of lamb which just melted in the mouth. We would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay here and look forward to our next visit.

We had a couple of nights at this big old country house last weekend and had a wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, The food was exceptional, a diverse menu which was well cooked and very fresh. The breakfast was of good quality with speedy service in a lovely airy room.
The view from the restaurant and the wrap around terrace is beyond fabulous.
It is very quiet and relaxing here with beautiful gardens.
We chose a suite which was in the stable block next to the main hotel. It was huge and very comfortable with an amazing rain shower over one of the biggest baths I have seen.
Even though it is a bit isolated it is still central for Padstow and Port Isaacs.
I would recommend this hotel if you like the countryside and good old fashioned hospitality.
It is probably a bit pricey but this sort of hotel is a bit of a rarity.

We would recommend Longcross Hotel and Gardens as a peaceful retreat if you are usually used to a busy lifestyle. A beautiful location and we highly recommend it to our friends. All staff were friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. Room and bathroom were clean and very comfortable.Hope to return again next year.

This is the first time I've written a review on Trip Advisor but felt that I wanted to following a mouthwatering meal that our party of three enjoyed on 9th September 2013. Service was very attentive and stunning location. The chef produced outstanding food and each mouthful was full of flavour. We will certainly be returning and will recommend the restaurant to family and friends. With winter nearing the view from the restaurant would make stunning location for winter storm watching whilst enjoying sunday lunch!!
