Had Cornish Beetroots and Cornish Fillets, just right. Must be one of the best in St Ives already. Well done.

“Fine eating a few strides from the busy seafront”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2011

We were recommended to this restaurant by our local hosts who eat here themselves and it was a real find. The food was individually cooked, the service was personable and best of all the tables were well spaced out from each other, unlike many other popular seafront restaurants.

The decor and furniture is a little quirky and the tables and chairs don't always match each other but this adds a touch of rustic charm and highlights the owner's deliberate intention to create an interesting eating environment, bistro style.  Altogether a very good choice.

“Eat here if you want fantastic food, excellent service and a great atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2011

We have eaten here twice in a week! Delicious food, great wine, excellent service.

We had the fillet steak which was truely delicious- in fact my husband said it was the best meal he had ever eaten! The starters were great and dessert very tasty indeed. The ingredients are locally sourced and are clearly fresh. On both visits we had either fresh bread and oil or olives- complementry whilst we perused the menu- this is a nice touch and one that no other restaurant we have found has done (in st ives). The prices are very reasonable and the quality excellent.

The first time we visited the two waitresses on were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. On our second visit the same two remembered us and were just as attentive. The manager/owner was also there on our second visit and came to chat to us, knew we had been before and was a great host.

We would absolutley recommend that you eat here. It is a little off the main street but that adds to its specialness. During our two weeks in st ives we have eaten at all of the main restaurants on the sea front and not one compares to this place in terms of quality and atmosphere. This is the only restaurant we have been to twice during our stay. The atmosphere is warm, eclectic and relaxed- the perfect bistro feel.

“Nothing was too much trouble - Fab!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 October 2011

We came here whilst on a short break to St. Ives to visit out relatives. They strongly recommended it to us so we went with them on our second night. The service was second to none, very attentive and extremely understanding to my lactose intolerance. The food was suburb, gourmet but good prices for the quality. I would recommend the Seafood Linguinie highly. There was nothing on the menu that I could have for pudding so they made me an off the cuff desert and the whole party wanted it instead! All in all a lovely lovely evening in great surroundings. If you go to St. Ives make sure you go here!

“Excellent experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2011

Had a lovely meal here, food excellent, service superb - attentive and friendly but not overpowering. Unique restaurant in st Ives and definitely worth seeking out as it is somewhat hidden off the main track, but this is a bonus I think. Definitely a great find that will be revisited!
