We stayed at the queens hotel at the end of feb for 8 days. The rooms are clean, modern and fresh, the breakfast is delicious! Possibly the best breakfast we've had anywhere! And the service was excellent! Tracy in particular was very helpful and really friendly. The location is also great! We would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend.

Just returned from a long weekend at St Ives, staying at the Queens Hotel. What a find this place is, comfortable accommodation, spotlessly clean, sitting on top of a great pub/restaurant. Breakfast every morning was delicious, the usual cereals, fresh fruit and toast but the real highlight is the full English breakfast cooked individually to order. The jewel in the crown at this royal named hotel, however, is the staff. Lee (The Bellboy) and his team are friendly, welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. Conveniently situated for shopping and is within walking distance from all of the beaches. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. If planning a visit to St Ives, I would thoroughly recommend the Queens Hotel but be quick to reserve because many popular dates are already booked.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 9 and my friends in room 10

Just back from a really lovely 2 night stay right in the middle of this busy quaint little village.
Hotel was really clean, just refurbished and traffic noise was non existent even with our room being the road side. The hotel is so conveniently situated in a quaint little street, central for every thing. We had a full English breakfast which lasted us the day! It was cooked fresh for your requirements. We ate out in the evening, as we only wanted a light meal, the hotel has a choice dinner meal, but we only really wanted a steamed fish or light chicken dish...
We can thoroughly recommend this hotel, for its walks around the harbour and little carless streets, and for a relaxing room., and of course its friendly staff.. Thank you...

Just on a note, its only £2.00 for 24hrs this time of the year until March 15th to park your car a short walk from the hotel in the train station....

Room Tip: Our room was on the road side, but it was very quiet with double glazing ...

The Queens Hotel has become our hotel of choice when visiting St Ives which is quite often as it is the birthplace of my partner and her father who is a celebrated local artist has lived here for 50+ years. This establishment ticks all our boxes. It has a great central location within walking distance of all the beaches, galleries, restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and comfortable with toiletries and a good shower. On no occasion have we ever been disturbed by noise whether it be inside or outside the hotel. The bar itself has nice look and feel to it and the staff are very friendly and highly competent. Matt the chef mixes techniques old and modern to produce a fairly eclectic menu featuring Cornish fresh fish and Cornish reared meat. The sunday lunch is up there with the best in St Ives and you must try the homemade ice-creams they are very good. All in all I cannot fault this hotel and we shall continue to stay here when we visit. p.s. the confit of pork was to die for!

Room Tip: We stay in number 5 which is situated at the back and has a spacious double bed as well as a single.

We had a lovely weekend here. The rooms are fine - comfy beds and all the usual amenities. The decor is funky rather than luxury and could do with a bit of touching up, be we had no complaints.

The breakfast in particular was delicious and we dined here one night and could not fault the food.

Great location - not too noisy.

Returned yesterday from 2 nights at The Queens. Staff very friendly and helpful, situation of hotel right in the centre of St. Ives. We stayed in room 6 which is very small. It is on the third floor so be prepared for a lot of stairs! The room was clean but cramped. Little street noise or noise from bar --- breakfast good with food choice of food. Parking is in a nearby long stay car park - in the summer, it could prove tricky to find a place which would be a pain. All in all the size of the room and the 3 flights of stairs were the major 'negatives' to our stay. However, the price per night was significantly lower than other hotels in the centre of this lovely seaside town. So------------- as ever 'you pays your money, you takes your choice'!!!!

Room Tip: You might prefer not to be on the third floor from the point of view of the amount of stairs, howeve...

We stayed for two nights for a short break in beautiful St Ives. The hotel is in a good position close to the shops and not far from the beach. Our room was clean and bright, had a comfortable bed and was nicely decorated. My only criticism was that the shower was only slightly warm. The cooked breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. We had dinner in the pub on one night and the food was good and the bar had a really good atmosphere on the Friday evening, when there was live music.
