Stayed here recently for a three night short break. Ideally situated in centre. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable and for central location very quiet! We were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff and enjoyed great breakfast cooked to order. One of the nicest small hotels I have stayed in. Rooms are above the bar which means negotiating a flight of stairs but this was no problem. The rooms were nice and the shower excellent. All in all, an excellent stay, I would certainly use again.

Room Tip: We had room no 10 which I would certainly recommend. Faces the street but quiet, spotlessly clean, w...

Stayed one night midweek at this charming, bursting with character, gastro-pub. Rooms are new and stylish, albeit basic. Light, bright and fresh - everything you'd want really. We stayed in room 5, which featured a double bed and single bed. Only fault - no hand soap for the sink. Surprising, as there was nice body wash/shampoo in the shower and the attention to detail elsewhere was very good.

Didn't have dinner here, but the cooked breakfast was outstanding. Simply put, best full English I've ever had. Croissants were fresh made on the premises.

Overall, a great place, great staff, and excellent food. Would definitely stay again.

Just back from a three night stay at The Queens Hotel - and I would definitely stay here again. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The room was warm, comfortable and very clean. The 'cooked to order' breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel is brilliant, right in the centre of St Ives. If you're looking to stay in St Ives, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for one night on Jan. 31st. Lots of stairs to negotiate however arrived in a very small, very clean and recently refurbished room. Warm, hot shower and comfy for our stay.
The very best thing about this pub, were the great staff who were friendly and very helpful.
The vegetarian risotto was the best, and I mean THE BEST risotto I have eaten anywhere at any time. Breakfast was included in the tariff. Free WiFi.
Nathan the owner should be happy with how this beaut little pub is going. Good to meet his mum eating in his pub, that same night. Nathan what ever you do, keep your chef!
One thing to note, there is no parking and we were sent up the hill to park the car. But this pub is in the centre of town. Loved St. Ives, even though it was so wet and there was fear of flooding, every one was very kind.

Room Tip: We were in a room right at the top of the stairs, with glimpses of beach over roof tops. A bit like...

Had lunch here for three of us, good selection of local beers and lagers, atmosphere good, updated surroundings excellent. Staff good too. The food? At lunchtimes do an excellent light menu, very varied, we had three different dishes and all were first class and excellent value. Seared venison salad, blue cheese salad and son had a really good ham and mustard sandwich and hand cut chips. Will go back.

This hotel is in a good location. Like a lot of hotels in the centre of St Ives though, it has no parking, so the best carpark is at the train station a few minutes walk away. the hotel seemed short staffed when i was there, reasulting in being kept waiting to check in etc, but I was there out of season so this may have been why. The staff were friendly enough. The room itself was clean and fresh in appearance, though the bed was not comfy: a rock hard and cheap mattress. The room was reasonably quiet, but the louder street noises (and drunk people shouting in the night!) couldn't be blocked out by the old windows. the shower room was small and the shower itself would not be suitable for anyone overweight as it was very small and the doors didn't open very far (I'm not overweight and i thought it was a squeeze). there was free wifi, hairdryers, local info (though not a map, which would have been useful) and the usual drinks etc. breakfast was nice but only a limited selection considering the size of the hotel. it seemed a bit pricey for the quality of the accomodation but I expect you are paying for the location.

We stayed at the queens hotel at the end of feb for 8 days. The rooms are clean, modern and fresh, the breakfast is delicious! Possibly the best breakfast we've had anywhere! And the service was excellent! Tracy in particular was very helpful and really friendly. The location is also great! We would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend.
