I couldn't recommend this guest house more. we stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. perfectly located in st ives close to the beaches and harbour. the rooms are modern airy and very large with wonderful sea views. wonderful breakfasts with lots of choice. I loved the fresh fruit salad and yogurt but the fried breakfasts were also sensational and served with large pots of coffee and tea. . for a perfect break in st ives do stay at cornerways

We arrived in St Ives without accommodation & little assistance from Tourist Information.
On making our own enquiries a mobile call was made to Tim who met us at the Harbour side and walked us to this haven of tranquillity!
This place really is a "gem" from initial appearance, being festooned with colourful hanging baskets set in the narrow streets, right in the heart of this lovely village.
The dinning room is one of the most peaceful tranquil settings, the ambience being complimented with fresh flowers, fresh fruit and "boutique styling".
Oh and the breakfast! It wasn't just a plate of food, it was beautifully presented, testament to how much pride and effort Tim takes in making your stay stress free.
I chose the Salmon and scrambled eggs, the wife staying with the traditional "English". Such was the presentation I did not know whether to photograph or eat it! It was divine.
The room was "individual" and stylish in decor yet homely and welcoming. With a suburb modern en-suite.
Sad thing was he only had availability for one night but such is the kindness of the man contacted his "friends" and we were able to stay an extra night in St Ives on our short tour of Cornwall.
Tim himself is the perfect gentleman and host and as a Blue badge holder assisted with our parking arrangements, nothing seems too much trouble. By chance we happened to see him in a pub/restaurant and he made time to talk to us. He is able to offer opinion on local places to eat, follow his advice, you won't go far wrong.
We were fortunate to find possibly the best Guest House in St Ives. Take our advice, make this your first port of call.

We've just returned from a long weekend in St Ives. Cornerway was a beautiful gem of a b&b, hidden away in central St Ives by huge pots of hanging baskets. We were made to feel welcome, the breakfast was lovely - couldn't have asked for anything more, will definitely return.

We have just returned from our stay at Cornerways and cannot praise it high enough. We stayed in the Daphne room with our eldest daughter and grandaughter in a travel cot and it was plenty big enough for us. The rooms are individual and boutique style with lovely bathrooms and are so comfortable with all you need. The dining room is gorgeous and the breakfasts are fabulous with so much to choose from. We had a four seated table (the same for the whole stay) and I changed seats just to have a different view of the room. Tim is a truly wonderful host, he is so genuinely friendly and helpful without being obstrusive which to us is exactly what we want. The position of Cornerways is ideal with 2 minute walks through to the harbour and Porthgwidden beach. The ambience sat outside with a bottle of wine on an evening is wonderful. We will most definitely return to Cornerways without a doubt and Tim helped to make out visit to beautiful St Ives an absolute treat.

My friend and I stayed here in early July 2013 only for a night, but do I wish we'd stayed longer!

The B&B is in a perfect location near the main high street and the main beach & pontgwidden beach. From the outside the building is one of the nicest in the area and the inside is just as nice. We had a lovely little tripple room for the 2 of us with a lovely bathroom and all the amenities you would need. Breakfast was the best breakfast ive had i a B&B. We were offered a number of options but it was the smoked haddock and poached eggs that I went for and it was fantastic!

The hosts were also really lovely and spent some time chatting to us.

If i'm in the area again I will definitely go back!

My two daughters and I shared the Rebecca room for three nights, and we loved our stay at Cornerways. Wonderful hosts, lovely breakfast, nice room. The room was very small for three people, but all right anyway. The bathroom looked clean but smelled a little moist, but nothing to worry about. We would definitely recommend Cornerways to anyone. The view from the room was wonderful, ans St Ives in itself has loads to offer. We hope to return rather sooner than later.

Tim was very welcoming.

Located in a very convenient location - close to parking and the shops/wharf.

Free wifi was fast and easy to use.

Rooms were large and comfortable.

Shower was hot and well flowing.

Breakfast was the best of our week long coast walk.

I would definitely stay here again.

All bedrooms have LCD TVs, DVD Players, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities, fridges and complimentary Cornish bottled water.
