This is the best beach ever.
Lovely for a swim between the rocks, gorgeous sand, overlooked by the Pedn Olva Hotel, train rolling into the station above, and is just the best setting possible.

One of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever visited. We are a family with three children ranging from 4 months to 13, every child was happy. The beach was clean and the presence of life guards made our girls feel safe in the water. The facilities were perfect offering food for all, ice cream for the children and a choice of alcohol beverages for the parents. The beach bar and Carribean BBQ just enhances the holiday vibes. We cannot wait to go back!!

Lets say straight off that this is a popular place in summer holidays so go early.Needless to say we did not and parking was a nightmare. In the end we got parked in Lelant saltings car park Hale and got the nice little train to the beach and back..We loved the beach great for sand castles and shallow gradient so safe swimming for the children ,Had mooch around the town later, good pasties, busy place but pleasant.good day out.

Lovely and sandy and importantly sandy at high tide which many beaches in the area there are not. The cafe serves exceptionally high quality food and drink all through the day. The haddock frittata was amazing. Don't take anything to the beach with you because most things can be hired from the beach shop beside the cafe. Parking isn't great verging on impossible so park at Lelant Sands railway station and catch the sensational train ride to St. Ives. It's a short walk from there.

Long golden beach with safe, patrolled swimming. Good quality beach cafe and toilets. Easy to access and sheltered from south westerly winds. What more could you ask for?
