We spent two very comfortable and enjoyable nights at the Lodge in September.
The weather wasn't too kind to us but Eleanor and Peter made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had the room at the top of the house which had lovely views across the garden and surrounding countryside and was beautifully decorated and furnished. Each morning we came down to a fantastic breakfast cooked on the Aga - so delicious - though there were plenty of other things to choose from as well.We will certainly come back again when next we are visiting St Ives.

We are a family of five who stayed for two nights using two of the rooms at this outstanding Lodge. Eleanor and Peter were fantastic owners who made us feel really welcomed. The rooms were well decorated, spotless, comfortable and very spacious. We were offered a customised breakfast to meet our needs with plenty of choice and quantity. We found Peter very knowledgable about places to visit and we followed his recommendations which turned out to be beautiful places including the amazing open-air Minack Theatre constructed on the cliff face at Porthcurno. The location is perfect for visiting many of the nearby beaches and places of interest in this beautiful part of Cornwall.

Room Tip: All the rooms were to a very high standard.

We stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely recommend and will more than likely return. Peter and Eleanor were so welcoming! We had a ground floor room which was immaculate, extremely comfortable bed and beautifully decorated plus a lovely view over the garden! Breakfast each morning was great, with yoghurts, cereals, fruits and juice all waiting in the dining room! We had a full English each morning too, which was lovely! The conservatory and garden could also be used by guests to relax... The photographs really are exactly what you get!! beautiful B&B.

We have just spent five nights at Halwell Lodge and had such a wonderful stay. Eleanor and Peter were excellent hosts, such a lovely couple who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Our room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious with a wide choice to choose from. We also fell in love with their two dogs. Very convenient local transport (train & bus) to St Ives and Penzance.
We would highly recommend Halwell to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

a nice small and cozy B & B house with many beautiful places nearby.
Very warmly invited and helpful host parents, who had many tips for us.
A full English breakfast with selection or Continentale was served.
We love o play with the both friendly dogs in the garden.
We enjoyed the 5 days stay very much. We will come back.

Room Tip: Best room is No. 2. Lovely view into the garden.

We have just stayed at Halwell Lodge , we had an excellant welcome from Peter and Eleanor..
The room was very well appointed and we had great breakfasts and hospitality. We hope to go back again some time in the future as Halwell Lodge is well place for access for walking, buses and trains if you want a change from using a car.

Room Tip: This was our second visit but both times had the same room, but all the rooms are of the same excell...
