“Perfect location to explore St Ives”
Reviewed 1 week ago for a stay in May 2018

We stayed in Michaelmas cottage over the May half term, there were 2 families and 4 children aged between 6 - 10. The house could easily accommodate 8 and at no point did it feel cramped. There is lots of little extras in the house such as books, games, beach equipment etc. The cottage has parking which is a massive plus and with a bit of moving about we were able to park 2 large cars without a problem. The cottage is in a fantastic location with only a 5 minute walk to either the beach or the town. We had 4 children with us and the only time they moaned was walking back , as St Ives is very steep in places.

Everything we needed was provided and the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay again. Jon answered any questions almost immediately and was very helpful. The views for the twin room were stunning and it was a shame that that wasn't the other double room. as it also had an en suite.

The only recommendations I would make were that the sofa was rather uncomfortable and if you put the fan on in the main bathroom it made the twin room very loud.

if you are a large group travelling this is a perfect base for exploring beautiful St Ives.

“Comfortable home with lovely sea views”
Reviewed 9 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

This is a lovely home in St. Ives. There are sea views from the kitchen and particularly from the front bedrooms. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds themselves are comfortable. The home is within easy downhill walking distance of the beach and many beachfront restaurants, pubs and shops. As with the entire community of houses, however, it is up a steep hill to return to the house. The house is very quiet, with the sounds of seagulls in the morning. There is a small but very nice courtyard with a bench just outside the kitchen. There is room to park 2 cars. This was a very pleasant, clean and comfortable place to stay. (Note: I know the owner personally.)

“Christmas in St Ives”
Reviewed 30 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

The house was warm and cosy, in a great location close to the town and beach with great views from several rooms. The two double bedrooms we used were very comfortable & warm. There was a nice welcome when we arrived with some Christmas decorations & champagne! Thanks,we enjoyed our stay.

“Great location”
Reviewed 20 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Lovely house and 5 minutes walk to centre of town or Porthminster beach.
The bed I slept in was super comfy and the kitchen was well equipt. Great sea views from the kitchen and the back bedrooms.
We would definitely consider staying again.
Thanks to Sarah for answering queries about the property so promptly.

“Just the job - spacious, clean and tidy and great location”
Reviewed 9 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Good and quick response from owner with plenty of information about the accommodation and also St Ives, perhaps a little more info required about directions (i.e. the one way system surrounding the property).
Cottage ideal for my extended family, with plenty of space and facilities.
Superb location in St Ives, with fantastic views from the bedroom windows.
Could do with additional dustbin if possible I made at least 5 trips to recycling at Leisure Centre Car Park (the only place that has bins for rubbish), because one bin was insufficient.
Big Problem with WI-FI signal - could not get access to Internet during stay.
However I would undoubtedly stop here again.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
How easy was key pickup/access to the property? Overall condition of the property
