We stayed for 5 nights end of January, early February. The photos do not do it justice. It has been luxuriously and thoughtfully fitted out. The lighting, candles and furnishings create a very romantic atmosphere. An extremely comfortable bed, stunning views, as the previous reviewer advised - just treat yourselves and book and enjoy!

Absolutely wonderful, such a chic Christmas treat. Close enough to town to enjoy the amenities, yet quiet and tranquil . Really a special place to stay, stunning!
We went for a 4 night October break and were so enchanted by Black Moon that we were tempted to stay indoors every day and enjoy the sea views rather than explore the town!
The rooms were all spotless and sparkling clean and the sea views that meet you on arrival are most impressive - you can open the folding doors for the whole length of the wall and watch the sea below you from the balcony.
We found the bed to be very comfortable, appreciated the heated floor in the bathroom, enjoyed the candles and incense sticks provided and loved the 'cave' below the lounge. We found the property to be warm and cosy.
The allocated parking place is a short level distance from the property and lies adjacent to The Island car park - it's best to follow the signs to this car park as the property instructions send you in the opposite direction against the traffic flow, and you are quite likely to meet oncoming cars in very tight places! As you can easily stroll into town or walk in either direction along the coast to neighbouring beaches there is no real need to use the car once you've arrived.

My wife and I are worried that we will be unable to find any accomodation in the future that will be better than this. Save up and book now. We had excellent weather and the double doors which look out to sea were always wide open. The views are breathtaking, especially at sunrise. See my photos. The decor, style, comfort, facilities are all outstanding. We sipped the complimentary champagne with some lovely grilled fish that I picked up about 20 seconds from the front door. The location is perfect to enjoy the best that St Ives has to offer. Want to pop on the beach for a dip - 30 secs away. Someone forgot something for the beach? throw it down to them from the window! We stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed for 3 weeks. Worried about parking in St Ives? you should be....but not if you book here, you will be provided with a spcacious bay to park and the rest of the drivers will look on enviously as you are parking whilst they are queuing.
