We recently had our second trip here in 6 months and weren't disappointed. The excellent service and very high quality of rooms and location will surely draw you back too. This place is just perfect...the views, the breakfast, the peace and relaxation factor, the attention to every detail. Recharge your batteries here; enjoy the superb surroundings and soak up all that is so good about St.Ives and the Blue Hayes, you will love it!

Room Tip: All are excellent. The best sea views are from the Master Suite; Bay Suite and Godrevy Suite. The M...

We have visited the Blue Hayes for the last five years, I can honestly say that Malcolm and his team are the most attentive people I have ever met, from the moment we step through the front door there is a very warm welcome and we are instantly relaxed. There is wall to wall luxury in every room, the food is of the highest quality, the view over st Ives is breath taking.
We are already looking forward to our next visit.

After a gap of 6 years we returned to the Blue Hayes and we weren't disappointed. Malcolm and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. My Wife even had a Birthday card and a bottle of Champagne waiting in our room on arrival. We were in the Master Suite which was fantastic. The views from the room were breathtaking and everything was so clean that we felt guilty walking on the white carpet in our shoes!! One thing is for certain, we won't be leaving it another 6 years before returning again. Brilliant!!

We recently stayed at the Blue Hayes and I can honestly say that it was the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in. Malcolm and his wonderful team of staff welcomed us and nothing was ever too much trouble day or night. With the fabulous sea view and location this hotel is in a different class and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs an amazing break by the sea. Worth every penny and will be returning soon.

Another excellent review coming up!

We have just returned from a three night stay. We were the first visitors this season and I can confirm all of the other excellent reviews. This is an immaculately kept hotel we had a lovely room overlooking the bay. Breakfasts were outstanding. Malcolm and Sue and the rest of the staff made us feel really welcome and special and this was exemplified in the way that they welcomed four surprise visitors that we had. As they were showing us around the hotel and pointing out the proximity of the south west coastal path four friends of ours simultaneously were walking past the hotel on the path. Malcolm thought nothing about asking them in for a coffee even though they were dressed for the walk. Immaculate the hotel might be but it also shows that Malcolm is not 'precious' about it.
We will return.

PS we weren't billed for the coffee either even though we had asked more than once for it to be added to our bill.

Wow, what an amazing find from trawling through tripadvisor. The reviews were true to form and can only compliment the hotel, owners, managers and staff. It was truly a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. The food was a delight and superb. Would recommend highly to others.

Apologies for late review, New Year's resolution just got around to it, we visited St Ives last summer while touring Devon & Cornwall.
Blue Hayes Hotel is a very well run hotel indeed with friendly staff and a relaxed feel.
We stayed in August, our room was just lovely - light and airey with fabulous views.
We slept well, the bed itself was very comfortable, and the bedroom spotlessly clean.
Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide choice. A great stay, well recommended.
