“Traditionally our favourite place to eat in St Ives”

All of the beach cafes in St Ives are worth a visit as they all serve superb food and offer superb views in stunning locations. The Porthgwidden Beach Café has always been our traditional favourite in St Ives, but we did feel that it did not live up to previous standards this year. The food was still good, but not as good as it has been in the past. Maybe it was just a bad night that we chose, but the chef has changed recently. The staff were still very friendly and attentive as usual though!

Smallest of the three main beaches it is sheltered and has a great little café. Perfect for families although a little walk from the main car parks

Picture perfect. Try Portminster Beach Cafe for a fabulous lunch or dinner right on the beach.
The sea is pretty cold so you may want to dip you toes in and test before a swim.

Lovely little secluded beach with fabulous restaurant and beach shop for icecreams. Saw dolphins jumping the evening we where there.
