“Great beach for a dip!”

A small and sheltered beach popular with families. The fine sand slopes quickly towards the sea in this narrow bay. We had a quick dip at high tide and discovered how soon one can get out of ones depth. Very pleasant for a short swim and splash around!

Fantastic little beach just right for the grandchildren, nice sandy beach for them to play on. Safe bathing area for swimming in or playing in. Because this is a small beach, it can seem to get crowded but we were not bothered by this.

We love Porthgwidden & walk across to it each time we visit St Ives. Unlike some of the other beaches it is queit & has a traditional charm, with the painted huts & small cove feel. The sand is so soft & fine & it;s very sheltered with high walls & rocks on two sides with the lovely cafe at the back

This beach is right next to St. Ives Harbour beach. It's a small beach and great for swimming. The wave isn't too strong. Beautiful clear blue sea and white sand. There is a cafe and toilets near there too.

A beautiful beach that is family friendly, packed today on a sunny day. The sea is stunning, azure blue. A little bit of a steep slope to get to the sand but not much really.
No dogs allowed. Good beach cafe with loos just behind that.
