Spotlessly, sparklingly clean; very spacious; superbly equipped; stunning location nestled between the north and south coasts with an easy journey to St Ives or to Penzance. As a tip. if you go to St Ives, we felt it was worth parking at the Rugby Club and catching the bus to the town centre. Julia, Neil, Grandma and children could not be more welcoming or lovely. On arrival, we were presented with a delicious home-baked Cornish cream Tea, with lots of fragrant scones, luscious jam and thick Cornish clotted cream. This family have been amazing and truly nothing is too much trouble. The children even looked out their little toy ride-on tractor for our grandson to ride on. The back garden is enclosed with swings and climbing frame. We love it here! Thank you to the whole family - you're giving us an amazing week and I don't think we have relaxed this much for a very long time - bless you all so much.
We stayed in this house for a week, it’s such a beautiful home and really couldn’t fault anything! It was gorgeous and the surroundings were lovely! The fishing lake added a nice touch and we enjoyed learning to fish! The house is so homely, modern and clean with good sized bedrooms and comfy beds! We are definitely going to be back next year with the rest of the family! It made our holiday so enjoyable especially being so close to st Ives only a ten minute drive away!
We can’t thank Neil and julia enough who were brilliant hosts and were always there if we needed anything!
Lovely house .. plenty room if you need space .
Not far from ST Ives and other local amenities .. defo go back ☺️ The children's also enjoyed the fishery
Gorgeous accommodation in great location.
Lovely large kitchen and conservatory, great utility area and fantastic en suite !
The children loved the garden, walking to see the chickens and horses. There was so much space for them to play hide and seek too.
It's just a short drive to centre of St Ives or A30 for other outings.
Owners very friendly and helpful.
We are missing the place already (only back yesterday!)
Our family stayed in Neil and Julia's house for a week and can honestly say it was lovely. Very spacious house, plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children. There was everything we could of needed within the house which made it stress free. You have to drive to a local shop but the surroundings are just lovely and peaceful. The children loved being able to see the horses, sheep etc every day. Both Neil and Julia are very welcoming and helpful, lovely family. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to visit again soon.
Thank you Neil and Julia.
Julia & Neil own a beautiful farmhouse and were on hand to meet & greet.
The property is beautifully furnished, clean & modern, yet still maintaining character. The house has good sized bedrooms, ideal for a large family or two !... we took our 2 children and grandchildren - 9 in total ( people not kids)
The property is well placed, with excellent facilities to provide tranquil time on the doorstep of St Ives ( only a 4 min drive to the town). There are good play facilities for children with climbing frames and swings in the garden, plus fishing in the private lakes for those that can.
I would recommend this property to anyone wanting freedom, value and relaxing features for a holiday. We shall visit again for certain !!!
