“Yummy Pizza”

We often order from the St.Ives Pizza Company and find the food consistently delicious. It always arrives piping hot and the ingredients are top quality. The staff couldn't be nicer too!

“Best Pizza for miles”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

I must start by saying I've not been a huge fan of Pizza in the past - eat in or takeaway - but tried the St Ives Pizza Co when a flyer for this new company came through our door. Well I have certainly been converted! A delicious, crisp, steaming hot (which is not always the case with delivered food) Pizza arrived at our home in Carbis Bay within 30mins of calling.(along with the most fantastic cheesy garlic bread!) The staff were friendly and helpful and all round we had a fantastic experience of this new business. All the very best to you all for a great future in the food industry! Its nice to see a local single business doing well - not just the big chains! You will certainly have repeat custom from us and I would highly recommend you to everyone. Well done!

“Friendly & efficient service.Fresh & tasty food.”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

After a long drive from Taunton we couldn't find the energy to eat out or prepare food so we order from The St Ives Pizza Company. We ordered online using an Android tablet which was an ordeal as the website wasn't optimized for tablets but the lady who phoned us to confirm our delivery time was really professional and friendly. Delivery was quick and our food arrived hot. The delivery driver was very polite and friendly.

The prices are high compared to places like Papa Johns and Dominos as these companies offer great deals but it was clear that they had put effort into making the food. We opted for the Feast and it was good value. The pizza (Porthminster) had a lovely crispy base but was slightly sweet but the next day it wasn't so sweet and tasted a lot nice (it was nice anyway). The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy and the garlic bread was on a pizza base.

Overall, a very positive experience and a godsend for two tired people!

“Decent pizza spoilt by overpricing”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

There are better pizzas in St Ives and this place had the opportunity to challenge them for tourists and locals due to its location for easy pickup/delivery. But pricing is so out of touch with reality, will not use again. Pizzas are fine, good toppings etc. Not easy to swallow though when you are paying more than a sitdown in Pizza Express which is in town with sea views.

Feels like London prices, but I lived in London and pizzas were cheaper than this!

Location is out of town on industrial estate, so you would expect reason pricing. There is a similar sort of business in Redruth - hidden on an industrial estate - Moganojax. Tried there when in area and much more selection, mealdeals sensibly priced and better pizzas! Shame they do not have place in St Ives.

Dear FullNotGlum

We are pleased you found our pizzas decent and rated our food a 4 out of 5 but we have no idea why you conclude we are overpriced compared to Pizza Express and Moganojax.

We presume your Pizza Express pizza sit down was on a periodic special price promotion – which of course we do from time to time. On the menu their Margherita is £7.35, Moganojax’s is £6.49, and ours is £4.99 – or £4.49 if you collect with an order over £10.

Direct comparisons beyond that are not always possible but our special pizzas are almost exactly the same prices as at Moganojax. Remember if you collect from us there is 10% off the listed price – making, for example, our 14" specials exactly the same price as theirs at £13.50.

And if you washed your pizza down with a nice Pinot Grigio, ours is £9.99 a bottle (£8.99 on collection) compared to £16.95 at Pizza Express (Moganojax isn’t licenced).

So we hope you feel minded to try us again. After all you presumably knew the price before ordering and liked the food. And so far as menu choice is concerned, you can always create your own pizza from our extensive high quality toppings list! We only opened this May so are finding our way with what our customers want. If we haven't got it - please just ask!

Kind regards
