Lovely walk. Is some hills so be prepared but awesome views. Did in rain and so few points muddy - wear appropriate footwear. Mostly well laid path though. Worth doing at least once!

We loved the path which was very well kept. My wife and kids are not huge hikers so the fact that the trail was well kept gave them something to be happy about. Of course, the ocean views and the rock formations are fantastic. We only hiked about 2 miles from St. Ives and back, but I wish I could have done more.

Park at the Saltings park and ride and take the walk to st ives, took us just under 2 hrs, it's a hilly 5 mile walk. Steep areas have railings or steps. Very scenic and it's free!! We got the train back, kids didn't fancy any more walking. By the time we got to st ives, we were very hungry. We have done this a few times, stopping off at Carbis Bay Hotel for lunch, lovely sandwiches and cream teas.

If you want free parking, park at St Uny's Church, Lelant. It just means a 1 mile walk from the park and ride.
