“A wonderful place to rest and play”

Whether you just walk, run, swim, or play on the surf then what a wonderful scenic place to be.
For us we travel here twice a year for some simple R&R, just sit outside and watch others strutt their fun and games, or maybe I'll break out the Blokart, wind and tides permitting and have a blast up and down the 3 miles of beach, or even a bit of stunt kite flying in the gentle evening breeze, kissing the beach and waves with the wingtips as others watch the colourful display.
Any down sides? Well for me none, it is where I want to be but more often.

This place is fantastic. The beach is huge when the tide is out. The surf is almost always good and there are classes for beginners. The beach now has lifeguards in more spots so safety has improved and the toilet facilities are better than they used to be. There is a little shop on the beach front at the car park.
Beautiful in any weather. Highly recommended.

Our holiday park had an entrance down to this beach through sand dunes. It's such a beautiful beach. The kids (aged 1, 8 and .. 29! ha) Loved it! The waves made it perfect for body boarding, my 8yr old was flying across the beach! The sand is lovely, no pebbles, stones just the odd bit of seaweed.

lovely beach , but no parking nearby on the busy bankholiday had to walk a longway along the cliff top from a field that cost £5 to park in. Great for surfers ( & there were loads of them) but not much good for swimming, breakers too big & most of the areas between flags for surfing & surf schools instructing . them , but lovely beach when the tide was out, when it's in mostly pebbles
