Just returned from a 5 night stay - quite honestly, the best B&B we've stayed in - and we've been to a few in our 44 years of marriage. Fenella and Mark were the perfect hosts and to wake up to that view every morning (we were in Porthmeor) was sublime. The little train into St Ives from the end of the road was very useful to avoid the parking problems in town. The choice at breakfast and the standard of food was excellent. Afternoon cake and complimentary sherry in the evening was a nice touch. We will return.

From the moment we arrived, to the day we left we cannot fault the service provided by Fenella and Mark. We booked the Cape Cornwall room the week of our honeymoon which is a beautiful room. The charm of the place didn't stop at the room however, the snug bar, breakfast room, and decked terrace area were all beautifully designed with consideration for guests. Dietary requirements were well catered for with the breakfasts and complimentary coffee and cake in the afternoon. One of us is gluten and dairy intolerant and this was not even an issue. The breakfast selection every morning was second to none and the service was fantastic. The hospitality of Mark and Fenella didn't stop at the food and accommodation. It extended to general information about the holiday, for example; recommending great restaurants around the area, where to visit, good places to walk to, what was suitable footwear for coastal walks. We felt incredibly well looked after for the whole week. They couldn't have been more friendly and genuine. We had a fantastic honeymoon and we would definitely go back. We would highly recommend this place.

Third visit to Headland House in Carbis Bay and it is as gorgeous as ever. Stayed in the Porthmeor room this time and the view across the bay was something else ! Breakfast is spot on, complimentary afternoon cake is fab too. Location is lovely (be prepared for steep hills),only a few minutes away from beautiful St Ives by train. Mark and Fenella are lovely hosts, they are so relaxed and friendly. They tipped us off about Porthmeor beach which is hidden away, just by the Tate gallery and is well worth a visit, real surfers paradise. It speaks volumes that we were not the only returning guests the weekend we stayed over Easter. Would always recommend staying at this immaculate, stylish house ! Lisa&Rich.

Room Tip: Porthmeor room at the front of the house has beautiful views.

We checked in late Friday afternoon and were greeted with a friendly and informative reception... Swiftly followed by fresh coffee cake brought up to our room.
The room, bright airy and clean with all possible amenities was simply stunning. One minor blip was immediately taken care of when brought to the attention of the staff.
Breakfast beautiful and fresh...!
I can't say how much I look forward to returning- so fab!

We stayed three nights at Headland House in April. It was perfect. We had a lovely room overlooking the bay. The house is beatiful and luxurious. We started each day with a lovely breakfast, which set us up nicely to explore St Ives & the surrounding area. The owners, Mark & Frunella are very friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend Headland House. Greg (Oxon)

Room Tip: Headland House is a quality establishment. Every room we saw was beautiful.

We stayed at Headland House over the Easter weekend.
The house is beautiful and lovely decorated.
It was a last minute booking so, the only room available was Heligan. It was described as a "cosy" room and the truth is the room is tiny however, it is a lovely room, you have your own little garden and an amazing bath tub. The bed is ridiculously comfy!
Breakfast is great. There are some options on the menu and two extras but you can combine them as you wish. The truth is at Headland House nothing is too much to ask. Fenella and Mark couldn't be more lovely, nice, accommodating and make you feel at home. They are such a nice people and make your stay unforgettable. Small little details are very important and they do get it right: from the jelly beans at the reception, the sweets in your room, the chocolate eggs for Easter, etc etc.
The B&B is not in "St. Ives" village but it is only 5 mins by cab (that won't cost you more than £7) or 25 mins walk and I actually really liked that. The village can be very crowded and sometimes overwhelming so, having that separation, in my opinion, is a good thing.
I would definitely stay at Headland House again and I highly recommend you do!
