Barbara and Mark's Roundhouse Barn Bed and Breakfast is more like staying in a 5 star hotel.

From the offer of tea, coffee or glass of wine on arrival, to the beautifully appointed rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds, thick fluffy towels in the bathroom, to the excellent breakfast - everything is exceptionally good.

The setting - a converted barnhouse with lovely gardens is peaceful and relaxing.

They are also to be congratulated on providing a very helpful web site, with useful recommendations for dinner and places to visit.

Room Tip: Both B & B rooms are equally good.

My 25 year young daughter and I stayed two nights at this fabulous B&B. We had twin beds (it is hard to find B&B's with twin beds) and we thought it was the best B&B we had ever visited. Barb and Mark are fabulous hosts. Breakfast was delicious, the art on the wall is a pure delight and the beds were very comfy. They recommended some places for dinner which were also great. It is beautiful and peaceful; but a litte off the beaten track - bit worth the drive.
Treat yourself - and stay here!

Room Tip: Twin room with bathroom has rainhead shower

Tasteful, modern, barn conversion in the beautiful St Just in Roseland/St Mawes area. Friendly welcome from Barbara and Mark Sadler who also helped with dinner reservation at local pub/restaurant. Lovely breakfast selection. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay and hope to visit again. Bedroom was a little on the small side and no-where to put suitcase, but all other facilities were superb.

Stayed 2 nights end March, only wish we'd had more time and could have booked for longer. It's the only place I've ever stayed (5* Hotels across Europe included) that was so clean it made me think about my standard of house-keeping at home!!
Breakfast plentiful, well cooked and presented.
Only drawback is that it is a little remote and eating out in the evening involves a car and therefore at least one person not being able to drink, but, on balance, a small price to pay.

Would recommend unreservedly

Barbara was very welcoming, the cream tea on arrival was delicious.
The room (Minack) was cosy (though not particularly spacious it was fine for us with wardrobe and drawer space) and had everything we needed including a stocked complimentary drinks fridge (water/OJ), glasses, teas/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits, hairdrier, TV/DVD player, ipod speakers, a selection of DVDs and books. Bed was very comfortable, with extra cushions perfect for sitting against when watching TV.

The whole house has been beautifully renovated in a modern style with quirky 'round' doorways.

The bathroom was very luxurious & spacious completely tiled in marble with a large drench style shower. Luxury thick towels and dressing gowns were also provided, as well as basic cosmetics, even a toothbrush holder.

Breakfast was excellent. A very wide variety of food and flexible to my vegetarianism - make sure you're hungry!
Barbara was very attentive, helpful in making suggestions for where to go, where to park, where to eat (she researched vegetarian resturants for us), and provided discounted tickets for the King Harry Ferry (recommended for avoiding the long way round to the West)

The location is remote but beautiful.
The B&B gardens are pretty and would be a pleasure in summer.
Check-in 4-7pm, Check-out 11am. Breakfast 0830-0930.

This was our first foray into B&Bs but other guests commented it was the best they had stayed in. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Use the King Harry Ferry to avoid backroads

We have just returned from a very comfortable and relaxing three night stay in one of the B&B rooms at Roundhouse Barn. Our room was fairly small but spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and better equipped than most 5* hotel rooms. The en-suite bathroom was also luxurious, with lovely White Stuff toiletries and huge fluffy towels. Barbara provided us with a delicious cream tea when we arrived, and the scones, which she told us were baked by Mark, really were feather-light. The breakfasts were also very good. We would definitely recommend this B&B to all our friends.

We spent a few nights away in the Round House cottages in November. We had a fabulous time. The cottage was gorgeous, with everything you needed and the hosts fantastic!
The local area is amazing - only downside a long way to the local pub!
Thank you Barbara and Mark.
