we stayed at the hotel for 4 days in the family room The decor is beautiful, the beds comfy and the staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient. Great with the kids too. We will definately stay here again and cannot recommend it highly enough.

We stayed at the Hotels for 4 nights in July, we paid a little bit extra for the "Superior Room" and it was definitely worth it, beautifully decorated, in light colours, a wonderful comfy bed and a hugh wet room. The continential breakfast is served upstairs with fanastic views of the harbour and sea and included everything you would want - lovely fresh fruit, freshly made waffles and great coffee !!!. A huge thank you to Craig and his staff for making our stay very relaxing and restful, nothing was too much trouble.

Room Tip: Pay the extra and have the Superior Room - the shower makes it worth every penny

Very recently changed hands and starting a renovation programme. At present the bar and lounge area redecorated and redesigned to give a modern chic look. At present there is no chef so only tapas available (but very good tapas). Plans for a health spa to be developed in the months ahead.

After a busy, sunny day in Falmouth and St. Mawes were stopped at the st. Mawes Hotel for a drink. We could sit on a balcony on the first floor with the newly refurbished lounge right behind us. We (two couples) enjoyed that very much. We aggreed on the same judgement: a great place to relax and unwind.

This place is indeed recommendable.

Since I visited St Mawes last year, this place has been completely refurbished from a rather run-down seedy looking joint, into a modern airy and bright establishment. We discovered by accident that between 4;00 pm and 6:00 pm you only pay for the shot of gin and not the total price including the tonic. Hence my wife and I had a couple of G&T's whilst sat on the balcony upstairs watching the world go by and enjoying the views over the harbour and the estuary. met some excellent bar staff who were very friendly and enjoyed having a chat.

We loved this hotel in St Mawes. Owned by one of the other hotels in the village it only opened 2 weeks ago. With no chef it is just a bar and rooms with continental breakfast. We did not stay but will,in the future. Very friendly staff, the highest price I have paid for a coffee in the UK, but wonderful ambience and views of the harbour to die for.

We had two nights in the newly refurbished and re opened St Mawes hotel. The decor is lovely, light and airy, the upstairs sitting room where the continental breakfast is served is a beautiful place to sit and relax and look out over the harbour. We has a sea facing bedroom, comfortable superking sized bed, impressive wet room and everywhere the great smell of new carpets. Buffet style breakfast was generous with fresh ingredients. Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice place to stay, highly recommended.
