We ate here twice during our 6 days in St. Mawes - dinner on a Saturday night and a midweek lunch. Nothing was touch trouble for the staff. We had a dog with us on both occasions and normally accept that puts us in the 'second class citizen' category - but not at Tresanton. What is really amazing is that this place is so good and so popular they could easily take the attitude that the don't need to bother at all with clientele with canines! Admittedly dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant but they offer the choice of dining on the terrace or in the bar. It was a bit chilly Saturday night so although we were offered blankets we decided to transfer to the bar after cocktails outside and someone had even thoughtfully lit a fire for us. So we had a wonderful cosy dinner just us + dog in front of the fire -absolutely perfect, so thank you everyone at Tresanton ( and no wonder we wanted to return)
