My husband and I spent almost 3 weeks hiking the coastal path, staying at a mix of hostels and B&B's. We stayed at 12 different B&B's and this was definitely THE best. Viv and Iain are delightful hosts and made us feel so welcome. And the bathroom for the gold room must be the largest in Cornwall too. What a pleasure to wear the provided luxurious bathrobes and walk just a few steps down the hall to a large shower and tub. The large bathroom alone is worth the cost after squeezing into so many tiny shower/toilets. But the bedroomtoo was elegant and large with everything we could want - including the spectacular view. The location is just off the coastal path and not hard to find. Though Viv says it's not 5 star, I say it is!

Room Tip: Gold room is a fantastic choice, even with the bathroom just a short distance down the hall. The la...

My friends and I stayed in Trenowan B&B for a weekend for a wedding near by. I had been talking to Viv on and off over the phone for some time as we had changes in the amount of people who were attending the wedding. Viv was as good as gold and was able to accommodate us, despite this the numbers changing a few times. When we arrived, we were shown around the B&B and shown our rooms. Viv made us a few pots of tea and we had homemade coffee cake on arrival - which was delicious. I stayed in the linen room, on the top floor of the building and my friends stayed in the Gold room. Both were wonderfully clean and relaxing!!! The views from both were lovely (especially the Linen room as it is higher up). When we returned of an evening, there was a bottle of ice cold water and fresh milk waiting for us outside of our bedroom doors, incase we wanted a cup of tea. The bed was beautifully comfy. Breakfast was lovely, a choice of juices, toast, cereal, fruit and full Cornish cooked breakfast.

Viv and Iain, were two of the nicest people I have ever stayed with. They were warm and friendly from the start of the trip, right through to the day we left. They quite literally couldn't do enough for us, we were really looked after. They offered us a lift to/from the wedding venue and were able to give us tips about where to go and have a look around.

It really was a pleasure to stay in this lovely B&B. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others. It might only have a few rooms, but Viv and Iain were able to spend more time with you, making sure you have everything you need. A very lovely stay.

This B&B is absolutely top notch and as good as any top class hotel. Viv's welcome was warm and friendly. We were shown to our room (Blue Room) that had a wonderful view out to sea. The room was as good as a hotel suite with a large bedroom, dressing room and a good sized bathroom. As promised we were served home made cake in the lounge and Viv was kind enough to explain all the local walks, restaurants and local attractions. In fact throughout our 2 night stay the service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. After returning from a walk along the coastal path, Iain served us with Tea / Coffee, what a gentleman. The breakfast had everything you might want and kept us going well past lunch. Despite the awful weather we walked to Port William, Tintagel and had a short drive to Port Isaac. I could go on about how much we loved our stay but my advice is for anyone wanting to stay in this part of the country to book Trenowan B&B asap.

Room Tip: We loved the Blue room but I understand the Gold Room is equally good.

We stayed at Trenowan Easter 2014 and are already missing it! Viv and Iain were the perfect hosts, so friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing being too much trouble and full of local knowledge which was really useful! Our room was the Gold Room, featuring the biggest and best bed we have ever stayed in, and the most beautiful view out to sea. The bathroom was gorgeous, and the shower fantastic, beautifully mosaic tiled by Iain. Coffee cake and tea in the afternoons and cooked breakfasts just how you like them made the stay complete. We can't wait to come back!

This is our second stay at this delightful b&b. The first time was in the gorgeous, huge, opulent blue room and this time in the little attic room; which may be small but its a pretty little room with a comfy bed and spectacular views across to Trebarwith Strand. Iain and Viv are wonderful hosts, catering for all your needs, including picking us up from the pub! Can't wait to come back and visit again, thank you so much for such a relaxing stay.

Great time considering we visited during very strong gale winds. Iain and Viv made us feel very welcome, the blue room was amazing best bed I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on. The breakfast was perfect eggs cooked in three different ways. What more could you ask for :-D Looking forward to visiting again in the summer!!!!

Room Tip: Definitely pick the blue room, most amazing views and luxurious bed.
