“Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and very close to restaurants, shops and harbor.”
Reviewed 15 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We enjoyed our three nights stay at Seas The Day in Dartmouth. The location was excellent as it was just a two minute walk to the town center and harbor. Many choices for good restaurants and shops close by. Also a very clean unit. A parking pass for the nearby car park is included. Just one note - we were emailed five days before our trip to let us know bath towels were not included. I rechecked the description and it stated linens provided and on another site it stated towels provided. As were were coming from the States we did not plan on packing towels. Also there is no washer and dryer so we would have to take them in our suitcases wet! I emailed Lindsay this info and she did arrange for towels to be there for us.

“Dartmouth great find.”

Can't rate this house highly enough. Very compact accommodation but totally perfect. Gorgeous decor and scrupulously clean and a spit from everything. Lindsay the owner was incredibly helpful and very prompt in all her replies to my various queries. She owns the house next door that looks equally gorgeous - Nauti House, and this has the advantage of some outdoor space, so if you needed larger accommodation I would strongly recommend you book them both. However the outdoor space is irrelevant as you just fall out of the front door to all that Dartmouth has to offer. As a consequence of our visit we will be buying something in Dartmouth in the not to distant future. The area is so beautiful. We found some lovely places to eat and a trip to Dittisham was stunning. Managed to cram a lot into two days and can't wait to go back.
Thanks again Lindsay.

“Lovely cottage.”
Reviewed 9 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Beautifully fitted out cottage. Nice decor and well equipped. Good location for the town and river. Parking not the easiest but that's to be expected for this type of location and was honestly described in the particulars.

“Great homely Cottage right in the heart of Dartmouth”
Reviewed 29 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We were lucky enough to catch a late Autumn break in Dartmouth and had a fantastic time in Seas the Day cottage.

It is a tastefully restored 2 bedroom cottage and has a really homely feel. The rooms are all decorated nicely and it makes you feel right at home when you come through the door. The Cottage was lovely and clean and fresh. You cannot beat sitting in front of the open fire with a nice bottle of wine for complete relaxation.

The location is excellent as there is a short flat walk to the heart of the town. You can always find an excuse to walk to the front to enjoy the great view. One great advantage is the inclusion of a parking pass to use in the town or park and ride.

If you get some time in Dartmouth be sure to check out The Greenway and Coleton Fish acres as well as a cream tea at Dartmouth Castle. The guide book in the cottage was really useful and suggested some great ideas.

If you fancy a relaxing time in Dartmouth this is a great place to stay. We will definitely be going back.

“beautiful house - great location”
Reviewed 23 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Seas the Day is a beautifully decorated house - very comfortable and only a couple of minutes flat walk until you are right in the town, it's a great place for a Devon break. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, smart bathroom and spotlessly clean. A shame that there is no outside space, but that didn't pose a problem given that we were two minutes walk into the town, and the lovely park and harbour setting. Parking in the town car park was not a problem with the permit provided. A great base for a week - would recommend this as an ideal stay for a family.

“Newly Refurbished Cottage with a Fantastic Location”
Reviewed 14 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I would have loved to give this a five star rating and the only reason I didn't was the lack of outdoor space at the moment. They have done a lovely job refurbishing the house and we will definitely be returning in the future! The house is spread over three levels with the kitchen and living room on the ground floor, twin room and bathroom on the first floor and the double bedroom being on the top floor (the stairs are a bit steep to this room so you must be careful). It's a lovely town with lots to see and do! If you suffer with breathing problems or struggle with hills, this is definitely the place for you as there are no hills to struggle with, only a set of 3 steps leading into the house and only a minute walk, if that, to all the shops. There is a parking lot only a few minutes walk away near the waterfront that you can park at overnight with the parking permit provided so we didn't need to use the park and ride lot located outside of town, so that was a plus! There are lots of lovely restaurants in the town and a lively pub just around the corner named The Dolphin. If you like Indian food, Spice Bazaar was very good! We also had an excellent meal at Bushells located on the waterfront by the ferry!
(I can not comment on the return of our security deposit at the moment as it has only been a few days since we left, but I'm sure we will have no problems.)
