“Good lunch spot”
Reviewed 23 October 2012 via mobile

We had lunch here twice on our holiday. The food is good and fresh. My only criticism is that the crepes weren't as filled as they could be, compared to my local creperie. Still was very enjoyable. Creperie should consider accepting debit cards though, as the cash only rule meant we had to queue at the bank unnecessarily, and this meant our child got a bit grumpy as she was hungry

“A little overpriced but nice for lunch”
Reviewed 4 October 2012

Thought the crepes and drinks were a little pricey for what they were. The atmosphere was pleasant and its in a good location with large windows to look out of. Food was quite good, but nothing spectacular.

“Ok for a 'light' lunch”
Reviewed 17 August 2012

Popped in for a quick lunch on a nice sunny afternoon. The owners are genuinely french so was expecting 'the best crepes' especially as it is in Dartmouth which is quite picky and being on the water front was expecting something special. Crepes ranged from between around £4 - £9. The cheaper were the simple savoury ones. We opted for 2 banofees, 1 breakfast crepe and 1 ham, cheese and tomato (four of us dined). The crepes were the usual size, thin but a plateful. Noot much filling really. Taste was average as any where else but I felt the prices were a litle high but what you would expect in Dartmouth. You cannot pay by card at all. A simple hot chocolate which is advertised as 'luxury' for £2.50 is not by any means 'luxury'. No cream or chocolate powder or marshmallows etc... Kids were disappointed. My apple juice was £2.50. My son had a chocolate nesquik type milk at £2.30. I did feel all the drinks were overpriced. I doubt we will go back.

“Good food, nice setting”
Reviewed 16 July 2012 via mobile

We popped in for some sweet crepes following a day in Dartmouth. It's a really modern and contemporary restaurant right on the front. Nice to sit and people watch from the large windows offering great views out over the river and town. We all had sweet crepes with drinks and coffees - all were delicious and very authentic. Coffee was excellent. The staff were a little short but otherwise generally helpful. Will definitely visit again to try the bounty crepe - sounded delicious but went for the chocolate and caramel this time which didn't take long to finish. Thoroughly recommend it.

“Wonderfully informal!”
Reviewed 5 June 2012 via mobile

The food is freshly cooked to order and the savory crepes are a superb way of ensuring a tasty, nutritious meal.

You can watch the crepes being cooked - always a sure sign of confidence by the owners. Talking of which, it is run by the ex restaurant manager of the New Angel when it was superb under master chef John Burton Race.

Nothing is too much trouble and it offers a wonderful, different but superb alternative to traditional English fare.
