We always visit Woodlands when in Devon.
Buy the 7 days wristband for best value.
Not a huge array of rides but what there is keeps us and the kids entertained. Ques for the tobbagan & bumper boats can be long so go early or wait till later in the day for them to die down.
The swinging boat near the entrance is great (get at the back)
The Falconry Centre & shows are a must, some truly wonderfull birds of prey and the head falconer is excellent, the kids can get really close by holding a small platform for the birds to land on and everyone got a go when we were there.
One of the Barn Owls (Shadow) did fly off after being spooked by someones sunglasses, hope he came back?

Catch Emazdad magician show if hes on, kids liked him.

Food is a tad expensive, so advise taking a packed lunch if poss.

We did buy huge bag of Flumps for £2.00 at the shop :) which the kids still have a week later.

Great day out

Woodlands is a great place for a trip out, albeit not quite offering the knuckle-clenching rides that major theme parks offer- the pricing is not too bad, and the rides are fun and have relatively short queues. Those with children should definitely consider going if left with a spare day to hand

We have been meaning to visit Woodlands for a while, we were staying in the area so decided to give it a go. We were nicely surprised. It was quite expensive for admission (we booked online and saved 20%) but the only extra cost was the crazy golf. We felt it was good value for money. We had a really good day and both of the kids (age 10 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed it.

Went with a 7 year old and 11 year old but they were apparently adults so we payed nearly £70 for 4 tickets! There are about 11 rides the rest is made up of adventure play grounds. For nearly £70 I expected allot more! For the same price you can go to alton towers or Chessington! My 11 year old was bored went on same 4 rides all day that was it, my 7 year old enjoyed it but would of enjoyed a visit to a park with an adventure playground just the same. Ok day but total rip off. If you have young kids probably a better day but anyone older than 11 don't bother!!!

We do offer a reduced rate of 20% if you book online with us which we advertise on all our marketing material it takes a family ticket for 4 people down to £56.32. All the rides in the park are included in the price including the huge zoo-farm, falconry centre and falconry displays. We are a family theme park and aim to cater for all the family so everyone can have a great day out.

We were staying at Woodlands fab camp site for 12 nights so the attraction was free to use as many times as we wished. Something to bare in mind if you enjoy camping, excellent staff and wash rooms etc. Although we were there as a couple ( are children are in their twentys) we still enjoyed the rides and the experience, if we ever have grand children we would definetily take them. We thought there was enough to do for ages 3 to 16 and adults. The farm was fun with a variety of animals ranging from deer and lama's to rabbits and everything in between. Busy but very few queues and queues cleared quickly.
