We stayed in Kingswear for a week at the beginning of July. On our first night, we ate at Annabelle's kitchen. The food was excellent (the triple cooked chips were to die for), the service warm and friendly, the venue pleasant and unfussy with a superb view. We enjoyed it so much that we went back later in the week, and we were not diappointed

Beautiful setting, delicious food, good wine, friendly and professional staff. This was our second visit and we had another fabulous evening. We can highly recommend a visit to Annabelles, booking is advisable as it is small. A fabulous place.

Even on a Wednesday eve, this friendly little restaurant is full. We were lucky to have timed it so that a window table became available before we had ordered, and we were invited to move tables. We appreciated this thoughtfulness. It's not cheap at Annebelles, but the food and wine are decent quality and the service is warm. It didn't quite blow us away like the time before, but it was still very good.

Delicious and imaginative food at this tiny restaurant with a view over the river. Interesting combinations of vegetables were particularly notable, whether as a vegetarian option or as an accompaniment to meat or fish. My lamb was delicious, as were my wife’s potato dumplings (i.e., gnocchi). The rhubarb crumble with clotted cream ice cream was out of this world.
Service was friendly, professional and not at all pretentious. There was a short but well-chosen list of wines by the glass.
Highly recommended for a beautiful meal.
