Whilst this is a small Museum it is perfectly formed. If you're into History or Geography do seek out the Midshipman's Log Book which was a daily record of a 17 year old Midshipman on the HMS Tourmaline in 1879 as it toured the West Indies Station. If you like at the hand drawn map you'll see the Florida Quays referred to as the Florida Reefs. A fascinating insight to an age long gone.

Spent a short time here whilst waiting for return ferry to Brixham. The staff are so friendly and enthusiastic and knowledgeable and the exhibits beautifully displayed. Would have liked to have spent more time here but tide and ferries wait for no man. Would recommend a visit.

Doesn't look much from outside but what an Aladdin's cave! The main room was one that hosted Charles the 2nd when he came out of exile. The are hundreds of artifacts in this small museum and many ancient naval documents

Spent an hour or so in the Museum, a very good film on the history of Dartmouth and the events of WW11. Worth the visit.

Potted Dartmouth, lovely to learn so much so quickly! Has the flavour of the town distilled into three (and a half) rooms. Perfect introduction.
