“Excellent, and what a view !, beats most other holiday accomodations by miles and miles...”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Dealt with the owners direct, and was a hassle free booking, keys arrived well in advance with instructions and useful info pack. Owners were there to greet us and provided loads of information about the area but were very polite lovely people and left us to enjoy our holiday. The apartment was immaculate, very welcoming and furnished to an extremely high standard making it feel like a home from home...the views are unbeatable and the telescope is a brilliant idea. The gardens were immaculate and again had a lovely view. It is ideally situated just a short walk from Dartmouth, and a Sainsburys just up the road...and there is loads to do. Blackpool sands were great, but we prefered Slapton and Torcross, the Start Bay Inn does lovely meals. These apartments are a brilliant find and a real credit to the owners.

“Excellent apartment, great views, good location”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

This is one the best holiday lets we've ever stayed in. Really nice inside and probably the best equipped rental we've ever used.
Great views over Dartmouth and you even have a telescope!
Very friendly owners who give you good information and advice on the locality.

It is about 10 minutes downhill into Dartmouth and about 15 minutes up, but it does have lots of steps that way. There is a longer, slopping way down if required.
Close to local supermarkets as well as the ferries across the River Dart.

“Lovely people, great location and terrific views.”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We chose this venue because it was all on one level (we were in the lower apartment) and we were traveling with my elderly father. The barn has a lovely historic feel, located on the main road, but without feeling that noisy or urban. The gardens shield you from that "main road" feeling. Great views over Dartmouth and located on the edge of the Naval College campus. Although all on one level, there were some steps, and the entry step is a bit high so if you are traveling with someone with mobility issues this location is good, but not perfect, however, it is very well equipped throughout, well stocked with everything you might need for a restful holiday. The owners - who have a holiday cottage on site - are delightful and very helpful.

We have been visitors to the property for many years both in the Winter and Summer and have always found it perfect as a home from home. Each time we visit you find small improvements to the facilities that always enhance the stay.
The town has great restaurants and pubs where the quality of food is good. The historical town is picturesque and has a great feel to it as you take in the atmosphere while walking through the narrow streets.
A real plus is the parking in that although there are restrictions in the summer generally there is sufficient parking for a couple of hours during the day which currently is free.

When booking the owners have a simple process for payment and key delivery with good information on local amenities sent to you before you arrive so that you can plan well ahead.

Ideal location, the walk into Dartmouth only ten minutes.
The view from the lounge is breathtaking, with plenty of space to relax.
The outside space is ideal for sunbathing with seperate area with large table and chairs.
We have already booked up for 2014.

“Stunning views,gorgeous gardens,beautiful barn,home from home.”
Reviewed 21 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Just returned from a splendid week at Longbow barns with my husband and two girls aged 12 and 15, it is a stunning spacious property, very well equipped kitchen and throughout, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean.Little extras have been thought of everywhere, from board games, books,DVDs,even a telescope, plus lots of information on the local area, all are useful and saved valuable time. The view is truly amazing both day and night and we miss it already, the garden is lovely and again well equipped with plenty of loungers and a table and chairs.
Ray and Jan the owners were great, nothing is too much trouble, they are very helpful with advise and little gems to visit in the local area and beyond. The barn has a home from home feel and we would love to visit again and have been telling our family and friends how wonderful it is,a great place to stay. The barn is within easy reach of shops, lots of wonderful places to eat with the freshest seafood ever. Only a short stroll down the hill to Dartmouth centre this really is a stunning property ideally located in a beautiful part of the country, lots to do and see,the castle, boat trips, steam train, beautiful beaches, walks and just watching the world go by.We shall return, never been so relaxed. Many thanks Dawn Lee Amber Jade.
