OK, so I love this chippy. Food made to order, lovely fresh fish, as their slogan says 'tomorrow's fish is still in the sea'. You queue, order your meal, which is then made to order, take it to the promenade and sit and watch the boating activity on the River Dart. Watch those seagulls though; they may try and steal your food! Prices are fine - the cod is really white and fresh, no skin, in a lovely batter, served in a cardboard tray with a slice of lemon. Superb! Owner is well known chef Mitch Tonks who has written several books on fish. This chip shop has a sit down version on the front at Dartmouth too.
