“Photographs don't do justice to this beautiful, relaxing cottage!”
Reviewed 12 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We stayed here during the long bank holiday weekend and we had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this beautiful cottage in a stunning location.

The cottages are inside a farm, away from the traffic and bustle of the city, surrounded by lush greenery, and yet they are within easy distance of the stunning beaches of Devon - Exmouth beach is about 10 minute away and Blackpool Sands is about a half an hour drive. There is a huge Tesco about a mile away, from where you can buy all you need.

We stayed in, Cottage 2 - which was newly done up, modern, extremely comfortable and very clean; with 3 good sized bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and a large kitchen. It has all amenities you could possibly need, from dishwasher to a washing machine, tumble dryer to extra dishwashing and laundry tablets. Christine had also stocked the fridge with milk, and we were greeted with a vase of fresh flowers, and a box of chocolates and fruits for the kids.

The property itself is beautiful, and has some lovely walks (the photographs here do not do adequate justice to its beauty). There is plenty for kids to do - lots of greenery to run around and play, and chickens and ducks to keep them entertained. Of course our kids fell head over heels in love with Milo, Christine's golden retriever and we still remember him every single day.

I would highly recommend this property and we would definitely love to come back!

“Would come back again”
Reviewed 9 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Great value and good sized rooms, all newly refurbished. Modern and clean (We booked the house and not the B&B option); with plenty of room to relax.
Christine was very welcoming, even had milk, wine and biscuits for us on arrival.
Perfect location for Exeter, but just far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing.
We didn't get as far to need to use the washing machine or dryer that were available.

“Perfect in every way! ”
Reviewed 17 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed in Cottage 1 for 7 nights at Easter with 2 adults and 5 children.

The photos don't do justice to this cottage.. the owners have done a fantastic job. The cottage is immaculate, modern and everything works.

The cottage has everything you need in the kitchen, plus a washing machine and tumble dryer. We also were extremely grateful that the owners had supplied extras such as towels, linen, toilet roll, washing up things, even some washing tablets for the machine. They'd really thought of everything and it made life very easy and relaxing!

The children were also allowed to play wherever they liked in the large communal garden and fields, which was great!

We were very comfortable staying here and were left to do our own thing, which we appreciated - although we knew Christine and Malcolm were there if we needed anything at all. The owners are friendly and very helpful.

The cottage is in a great location, close to pubs and restaurants but also a central point with easy access to lots of South Devon locations on holiday!

To find fault with the cottage would be nit picking - it was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to come again!

Thank you for a really lovely stay and for thinking of absolutely everything a guest could need.

“Wonderful stay”
Reviewed 17 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

The cottage was warm and comfortable despite especially chilly conditions outside. Christine was a wonderful host. Our children loved having a place outside to explore when they needed to expend some energy and we were able to host family for nice meals, which was our objective. All around excellent!
