Gourmandine is open for morning treats, lunch, and afternoon patisserie. We will also open evenings by special arrangement for private parties of 20 to 25 people. Have been here a number of times and always lovely friendly service and really great food!
After having lived in Brittany I started to miss galettes and crepes and very glad this place has opened - definitely recommend treating yourself to a glass of refreshing normandy cidre too!

Love coming here when were in town, great selection and always great service. My favourite has to be the crepe with camembert, ham and sun blushed tomatoes, topped with parmesan and fresh rocket its to die for. Highly recommended.

Went to the Café after looking on Trip Advisor at reviews and weren’t disappointed!

Nice range of savoury and sweet crepes which seemed as nice as the ones we ate in France.

Café was light and airy, staff were very polite and prompt and food was quick.

Location is great too as it’s just off from Princesshay at the back of House of Fraser, so if you are shopping you don’t have to trek far from the shops. We will be returning next time we visit Exeter.

Stopped off for a cup of tea after Xmas shopping. Greeted with a warm smile and told about the specials on offer. Ordered just the one crepe with salted caramel topping with our drinks. The crepe was delivered quicker than the drinks, and nearly devoured before the drinks hit the table. It was delicious. Have now decided to make it our preferred stop every time we go to Exeter.

If you want a traditional crepe, this is the place to go! You can choose from a wide range of fillings, sweet or savoury and they are all cooked to perfection. There is also a choice of traditional French food, Beef Bourginoion, Coq au Vin etc. and even though they do take a little while to cook, they are well worth the wait. The service is always impeccable and the owner is really friendly!
