Situated right opposite St Davids train station this make an excellent base for discovering Exeter. We had a family room which had plenty of space for two adults and two teenagers to relax after days out. The hotel was spotless and the automatic check in meant we were in our room in minutes. We had a small issue with a fast running toilet but this was sorted within 20 minutes of reporting it,a super fast response. The lady at the checkout desk was so helpful as well. Although there is no parking at the site we found a space on the road outside every time.Parking on the road is free after 6pm and you can stay up to 2 hours between 9am-6pm meaning you do not need to move the car until 11 am - ideal! Beware however you do not park in residents permit only bays as this incurs a hefty fine and we saw traffic wardens most days patrolling the area. We did not use the restaurant as there are hundreds of eateries (weatherspoons etc ) close by who do a much cheaper breakfast. Overall a comfy peaceful stay in a modern hotel

Room next to plant room (no. 111) and had a droning, humming noise all through the night, so disturbed sleep. To be fair to the reception staff, they honoured the PI good nights sleep policy and refunded the cost of my room. Also, no parking at the hotel - parked opposite in the station car park at a cost of £9.90 for the night. There are, apparently, other car parks available but a distance away from the hotel. Otherwise, usual high standards of accommodation, cleanliness and service.

Comfortable, affordable and clean. Limited free wifi. Extra cost for parking may be incurred. Friendly, helpful staff. Tried staying in another hotel in Exeter, closer to town. What a mistake! Never again will we stay in another hotel than this one in Exeter.

In town for a family wedding, we stayed here and later at a B&B. Although the B&B was more aesthetically pleasing, the Premier Inn was much more comfortable, quiet & clean (big plusses for a pregnant lady!). It was conveniently located right across the street from the train station, and the walk into town was pleasant and easy (perhaps a little steep at parts for some) – about 15-20 min. max. No frills, of course, but met our basic needs and I would stay definitely here again. Right now they only offer a half hour of wifi for free, which is a little inconvenient.

As always the room and hotel was clean and well designed/stocked. Staff very helpful and informative. Just a note to management- please advertise for special dietary needs, I am gluten free and your staff were great but if I wasn't staying there I wouldnt eat there as you do not state on your menu what is gluten free (and you had more than I thought!).
