Friendly staff and good food, an easy 10 minute walk to the Cathedral. Decor is a little dated and faded but the rooms were very clean and quiet. Good value.

Had a really nice one night stay at this accommodation in February. The owners were extremely accommodating and the added bonus of early check in was really helpful, especially after a 4hr drive.

Excellent location, close to the city centre and a reem of information provided to us about the area on check in too. Rooms were nice enough and the breakfast was lovely and served with a smile. Highly recommended and will be back again in the future.

A party of friends stayed here around the recent Exeter vs Tigers rugby game & chose this hotel because it was handy for the town centre, railway stations and buses to the Chiefs ground. As per previous reviews we found the owners to be welcoming & very helpful. I can only repeat what has already been posted, the rooms were clean & the breakfast very filling! All in all, extremely good value & will be first on our list of places to stay when we return next season.

We chose this B&B because we were attending a gala evening at the university which is very near. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. The breakfast was superb. So glad we chose it.

Room Tip: It's worth the climb to the top large double room where the view is superb!

I had to make a one day visit to my Head Office in Exeter. For such a brief trip, train was the only way to go. I was therefore looking for reasonably priced accommodation in a convenient location for rail and bus links.

Park View seemed to be in an ideal location and at a very reasonable price. This proved to be the case. Even though it was raining I decided to walk from Exeter St David's station. With a heavy piece of luggage and carrying an umbrella this was hard work and i was quite out of breath by the time I arrived. Despite the climb it couldn't have taken me much more than 10 minutes.

I was warmly greeted and shown to my room. This was perfectly adequate and if there was any comment to be made it is probably that the decor is a bit dated, but then perhaps I have stayed at too many new establishments recently!

I was given directions and suggestions of places to eat. I was advised of a footpath through the park opposite the hotel and this proved to be most convenient making the walk into the City centre quite easy, again no more than 10 minutes.

Breakfast the next morning was perfectly adequate with a good choice and all served.

If I have to visit Exeter for business again I would not hesitate to stay at Park View again.

Hotel is up a small hill and facing a park in Exeter. Very quiet area, but easy to walk downtown, a few blocks to Exeter Central rail station. A very lively Wetherspoons a few blocks away, which was a good recommendation by owners of hotel. Comfortable room, good flatscreen, did have trouble with internet reception, and the stairs are steep and narrow. The owners are very helpful with local information and clearly hard-working, serve good breakfasts in a downstairs room looking out on their garden. Seems easy to meet other guests because of smallness of breakfast room. Close to university.
