I spent one night at the hotel whilst attending a family funeral in Exeter and was suitably impressed, everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The hotel is very quiet with very little road noise ( I was in a room at the front by the main road), the breakfast was nicely cooked and lot's of it. In all pleasant stay. I would certainly recommend this hotel when visiting Exeter.

Chose this Premier as it had parking. Also know that we can rely on a good standard of room. Staff friendly, even the chamber maids we passed in the corridor. No road noise. Clean comfortable rooms. Extra tea bags would have been good...or remember to bring your own. Bathroom a bit tired but clean. Breakfast unlimited, unhurried & a late finish if needed.

On the A377, not far from the M5, the Hotel is well located for the visitor to the Exeter area. The hotel wrapped itself around three and a half sides of the car park. While this did mean the parking was more secure than it is in some other locations it also meant long walks around the car park if your room was in the furthest wing. The room was clean but it did face onto the busy A379. Despite the double glazed windows there was some road noise. All in all the bedroom and the endless corridors could do with a lick of paint and new carpets. The Premier Inn was attached to a Beefeater restaurant, The Countess Weir, where meals were served. The sirloin steak in peppercorn sauce was good value. I did sleep reasonably well despite some noise from the road. The next morning breakfast consisted of a buffet of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices, bread and beverages with a hot breakfast option. As the hotel is conveniently placed I would probably use it again if I I could book a quieter room but I left with a slight sense of disappointment on this occasion.

Room Tip: The higher the room number the more likely you are to be away from the busy A377 but the longer walk...

OK, exactly as expected.
Easy to find; worth a stopover if in area; service, food, bed comfort all up to Premier Inn standard as advertised by Lennie!

Compared to other Premier Inns, this one look tired, and we we in the new section! You get what you expect, and we slept well, just not as comfortable as some others we have stayed in.
Breakfast was a buffet or the cold items, and hot items served to the table very promptly.

Room Tip: Avoid near the exterior doors. Smokers had left a vial dour in the doorways, and to air them those a...

I stayed with a colleague at this premier inn before an even the following day at Westpoint. It was convenient for Westpoint (only 10 minutes driving). The room was adequate and clean and of a quality I expect of Premier inn. The shower was a bit lack lustre and the bathroom a little tired but was clean and provided everything you needed. The restaurant was okay nothing special, but reasonably priced pub food if you don't want the hassel of driving to find somewhere elese.
