Great tiny cinema showing essay movies too, lovely bar. Ideal place to meet with friends. Reminds me more of a theatre...

This used to have really good pizzas and cakes etc. Last time I ate there it had definitely got much worse.
Nice bar and good atmosphere for a cinema.

A lovely little theatre with an old-world kind of feel. It's a little haven. Lounging on the sofas playing board games with a drink is very relaxing.

This is a lovely little cinema. The drinks are a little expensive but that can be excused because they put on so many films worth seeing.

We are oap regulars who try to see every well-reviewed film, mostly coming in for afternoon showings of films and encore showings of the NTLive, theatre and opera live shows. The staff are informed, extremely helpful and we trade opinions of the films we have seen with them.
The bar staff are courteous and helpful despite sometimes being overwhelmed for the live theatre, etc., shows. The menu is a bit limited but this is by far the best place to appreciate both popular and art-house cinema.
The car park can't be stretched sadly but there are three invaluable disabled slots. And for the more abled bodied there are nearby places.
