Clean room and linen. Comfortable bed and good shower. Only downside was that our child's bed was not made and had to wait nearly 40 mins for this to happen on arrival - child was already very overtired so not very helpful. Otherwise excellent stay.

My wife and I stopped here in June 2014 for two nights and we have no complaints whatsoever. It was a very clean throughout and our room was very good and had a large screen quality tv in the room. The bed was was very comfortable and it fact it was top marks all round for this hotel.

When we are in this region again then we would definitely stop here again.

Room Tip: I would imagine that all rooms are of a good standard. We had a room overlooking the road leading to...

Ideal for our nights stay prior to an early morning flight - airport just 10 mins away . First time weve experienced an automated self service check in , but this was straightforward - & there was assistance should you need it . Requested Quiet Room Top Room at time of booking & although we were on top floor at end of corridor ( room 202 ) this was overlooking the dual carriageway . Unfortunately traffic noise started in earnest from 6 ish . Next time we will request room at other end of hotel rooms 230+ .

Room was excellent - spotlessly clean , good size bathroom , brilliant comfy bed & large plasma TV & facility to plug in laptop , play DVD etc . Only niggle was no safety mat for shower . Vending machine in reception handy .

We are not fans of Brewers Fayre . We can recommend Barn Owl just 5 mins walk away - this restaurant / bar does get busy so you may have to wait for a table if you haven't made a reservation .

We haven't stayed at a Premier Inn for years but we were overall impressed & felt it was good value . We will certainly stay again at this hotel & try other locations .

Room Tip: Request room allocation away from dual carriageway if traffic noise disturbs you .

we had a wedding to attend to on the saturday 14th june and was recommended by a family member to stay here in the family room which sleeps up to 4 ,we was very impressed with the room it was very clean and tidy the only downside was the small bed(the pull out bed) which was uncomfortable to sleep on apart from that everything else was very nice. the staff there were very welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful. we would recommend to friends and family members.

We had a wedding to attend near Exeter so I looked around and there are three Premier Inns in Exeter. Of the three I chose this one as it had parking and was only about 6 months old.

Arrived around about three and went throughout the automated checkin with no issues. The keys in this new Premier Inn are the proximity type whereby you don't have to swipe nearly present the card by the door, very handy when you have your hands full.

Once in the room it was your stock Premier Inn room Big comfy bed decent bathroom and a single bed as well, nothing wrong with this room as it's only six months old. One surprise was the 42" TV on the wall all the other Premier Inns I have been to have small tv's, it also had a panel to allow you to plugin you laptop or DVD player etc very handy.

We did eat in the attached Brewers Fayre on the day of the wedding as the Wedding Breakfast was not until later on in the day. I would recommend that you avoid this pub for food as it's utter rubbish, I ordered a burger and it was dry as can be. However this has been my experience with most Brewers Fayres so was not surprised by this!

All in all I would recommend the Premier Inn as it's a reasonable cost especially if you can get one of their deals for £29 and the Quality is consistent. The rooms are always maintained to a good standard and are better than some higher class hotels I have been to

The Premier Inn itself is excellent. Only six months old so the latest standard. You won't be disappointed.

What lets this hotel down badly is the adjacent pub restaurant. In the evening I was offered and accepted a Pizza/ Pasta buffet option. Everything was hard baked under the lights and not an enjoyable meal at all. The staff were young and didn't seem to have a grip of things.

Breakfast was a disaster! 6.30am and already there were over 100 German tourists queuing for coffee, toast etc

WHITBREAD PLEASE NOTE: if you are going to cater for groups then invest in additional coffee stations.

Working people don't have the time to wait around. The Greeter was lovely and she got me a coffee on the pretence of cleaning the machine but the whole breakfast experience was stressful

Stayed here one night to break a long journey.
Staff at reception were welcoming and helpful.
Rooms clean and comfortable. A little mean with the in room drinks with only 2 coffees and 2 teas.We prepaid for room only and the price was good value. The pub next door serves basic food so don't expect too much, although the staff were friendly.
Plenty of CCTV in the car park.
