Description: Welcome to Goa Spice Premier, the largest Indian restaurant and Takeaway in Exeter. We have been bringing the taste of authentic, home cooked Indian food to the UK for over 20 years with a special twist of Goa. The restaurant has been developed with a traditional concept of East meets West and we offer a large, open venue for special occasions and a casual meal out. Goa Spice Premier has the aim of bringing to Exeter, authentic home cooked Indian with a Goan Twist which results in fresh, flavorful food just like we have back home in Goa. We have a wide and varied range of items on our menu with popular on the bone lamb and chicken dishes and a plentiful range of fish options. We aim to offer a relaxed, personable atmosphere in our 3 distinct areas for all those dining in or ordering take away.

“Amazing Flavours!”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

First visit and it's only round the corner! What a delight and will be back! Very attentive service from first to last nothing too much trouble. We chose from the Goan curries and oh my! The owner explained each dish it's spices and history perfecting each curry to individuals taste I have been back several times and would find it hard to beat well worth a visit.

“Best in Exeter by a mile.”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

Eaten in loads of curry houses in Exeter, BUT!!!! Nothing like this one.
Food was so fresh and service was spot on.
No fake red dishes.
Just full of taste and yet so light to eat.
As much or as little spice as you like.
Spot on!!!
You have got to try this place if curry is your thing.

“Just amazing !”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

We visited this fine restaurant last week and it was our third visit here. It is a very comfortable, well appointed, clean and spacious restaurant, but without doubt it's the outstanding quality, quantity and authenticity of the food that provides it's excellent reputation.

The menu is not the most extensive but the choices are carefully selected and obviously prepared with great care. On each occasion we have visited the food has been exceptional and 'off menu' dishes or dishes prepared to suit individual tastes are available.

The service is professional and attentive without being overbearing and the selection of drinks is more than adequate - both Kingfisher and Cobra on draft.

For the Indian Restaurant connoisseur this is a hard restaurant to beat and I would highly recommend it.

“Outstanding curry”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

We cook a *lot* of curry at home (from fresh - no jars/packets), using ground whole spices etc, and have always been disappointed by takeaway curries in Exeter that tasted bland (ie same base curry 'sauce' with a few alterations that made up the various curries), or greasy, or full of artificial colourings / flavourings.

This place has the best curry in Exeter - it tastes clean, fresh, home-made and is consistent. The menu is small (which shows they are focusing on a few specialities) but very interesting. We've had most of the menu now, and its all great.

The garlic naan is particiularly outstanding - not too doughy, and dripping in ghee & garlic.
