Beautifully equipped. Very nice kitchen right next to living/dining area. Nice size bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Being a block away from Belmont Park was a real plus since we had our two granddaughters. A quiet street within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Princesshay and High Street. Philip is a very responsive owner. It will be our first choice for a place to stay on future visits.
We stayed at this fabulous apartment for a week with our two (grown up) children. It's in an ideal location - so quiet, nice area, but just a short walk or drive to town. The apartment has everything you need and more. For those, like me, who actually like cooking while on holiday, the kitchen is a dream. The bedrooms and loungeroom - very roomy and comfortable. Thanks Philip for the cream tea on arrival! Would I recommend? Absolutely.
This is a great apartment, very well equipped with everything you need, comfortable and spacious. Our stay got off to a great start when Philip collected us from the station, and we arrived to find milk in the fridge, and a cream tea awaiting us! It is in a quiet area, but only a short walk to the city centre, and some excellent restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and Philip collected us and took us to the station for our return journey too!
Booked for a week. Close to town centre (John Lewis) which was a 10 minute walk away. The flat is in a very quiet location and is very comfortable and well equipped. In fact I would say one of the best equipped holiday rentals we have ever had, more "Home from Home" than the basic furnishing's one normally experiences. Not the cheapest property we looked to book but having stayed worth ever penny and I have no hesitation in recommending this property to others although I am conscious of the fact that if it becomes too popular it may not be available when I want to book again. The Property owners could not have made us more welcome, giving us a guided tour and providing a "Welcome Pack" which included all one needed for a "Cream Tea" a nice touch and much appreciated. There is a super "Waitrose" supermarket a mere 5 minute walk away and as previously mentioned its only a short walk to all that the city centre has to offer in the way of restaurants, pub's etc. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were in Exeter and we went to "The Gallery" restaurant in Topsham, another venue that I also cannot recommend highly enough and worth making the short trip out too. Would I return - "yes" "Yes" "YES"
Quality furnishings and comfortable. Stayed for four days and car never left the safe car park. Used the bus from Blackboy Road there was one every 10 minutes during the day also when not raining a 10 minutes stroll took us to the high street. When loaded with shopping it was a £3.60 taxi ride back from the centre. Ate at Rendez-vouz, Cote Brasserie and Harry's Bar and can recommend all three but you need to book the Rendez-vous which has a large hidden garden for summer lunch or evening. Philip the owner very helpful and always on hand if required, Looking forward to a return trip soon.
The spacious apartment was extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. A real pleasure to stay here and so nice to come back to after long days out.
it was also very helpful having information about the local attractions.
The location was ideal for us as it was within walking distance to the city centre and with the network of roads, we could easily travel out in to the surrounding countryside within ten minutes.
we would definitely recommend this to friends & family and if we were to ever return to Exeter, we would definitely stay here again.
The host, Philip, made us feel very welcome as well.
